They LITERALLY tried to steal me and lied to my face ! Avoid that place and just sell online on eBay. Here is my experience : I called a first time Sell electronics to know at which price they would buy a sealed mini iPad 3 16GB that my boyfriend never used. First of all, let me tell you that the person answering the phone was not nice at all and could not provide me any information because he needed to see the product before determining a price. I mean ... Really ? You are telling me that you are unable to give a price for a SEALED mini iPad 3 ? I guess whatever ... I decided to get to the place anyway. Once I get there, I am "welcomed" by two men. I explained that I called and proceed to show them the iPad. Right away, one of them asks me how much I want in a very cold way. I mean come on, you are the buyer so shouldn't you be more professional and tell me how much I can expect to sell it ? I guess not. After multiple tentatives, I just told him that I wanted to maximize my profit. Finally, he and his colleague dared to tell me that the iPad was a first generation and that they would give me $100 for it. EXCUSE ME ?!??!!?!!!! He then shows me on eBay that the iPad is worth less than $200 and says "alright ! I take it for $150 ! Does that make you happy?". I felt so insulted that I just left. Afterwards, I can confirm you that my iPad is indeed an iPad 3, worth $269 on eBay. I opted for a sell through intermediary taking a 20% commission. Therefore, I would get $216. So ... Sell electronics NYC, next time you see a young black woman coming to your shop to sell a device, please do not assume that she is stupid and in need, because that was CERTAINLY not my case.

I am writing this excellent review for a transaction I made the other day. I needed to sell my old iPhone and my old MacBook pro but did not want to get ripped off by selling it to the store. I searched google around 47th St. and I found this place and a few others that buy electronics. The workers were friendly, professional, nice and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable, offered me water and use of the bathroom facilities. The workers are nice, I was seen quickly and I received cash. However I only got 250$ for my iPhone 6plus Verizon 16GB.

Their reasonings were what made them get the rating. If it's just a close to none demand on the phone then I get it.

But to tell me, a tech that works for Apple, it's because they're announcing the new iPhone 7sE or whatever they called it, March 21st. Was ridiculous. Lol I only took the money because I didn't care. I had offers for 3-350 which would have been more suitable but it's just a phone.
