The LEGO® Store Staten Island — Local services in New York

I went into the store with a item that i have recently purchased and wanted to return it. I walked into the store with the items inside the bag i was given and the free items with the receipt. When i got to the register they said it was closed and was able to be returned, when they scanned the receipt they said the item was already returned and could not do anything about it. I did not return the item, that is false. The store manager named Lisa was very rude to me and nasty. She kept arguing with me and all she did was give me the corporate number. After i spoke to corporate they personally called the store and spoke to Lisa. At that point she decided she did not want to deal with the return and denied the return. This is very unprofessional and rude. I am now dealing with corporate and trying to fix this. I will not be purchasing anymore Lego items due to this incident that happened. I came into this store to get the $400 Ferrari that just came out and they lied to me, telling me that the one on display was the only one in stock. The box had a few blemishes and they refused to check in back. They told me that was the only one so I purchased it, and made a loop around the mall. I walked by and they placed another one on display. I’ve worked in retail for over a decade and lying to a customer is one thing I’d never do. Absolutely atrocious that I spend hundreds if not thousands every time I go by this store.. and they don’t even remember who I am. Unhelpful...
