It really doesn’t matter to me because I will never be parking there again. But people who plan on parking here deserve to know. PLEASE READ IF YOU PLAN ON PARKING HERE.
I read the reviews before I parked here and they weren’t great but honestly I just assumed the bad reviews were once in a blue moon and it wouldn’t happen to me. Most said that the customer service was bad, but I figured who really cares it’s just a parking garage as long as they park my car I don’t care if the customer service is bad.
Well, as the reviews said incredibly bad customer service. Additionally, garage is advertised as covered - car was parked in a nearby outdoor lot, initially wouldn’t accept prepaid spot hero bar code - tried to charge me twice and only accepted it when I wouldn’t give in (I guess the bar code magically worked that time), and worst of all - LOST CAR KEY.
We arrived in the morning and the attended working was very rude, he seemed bothered to have us park there. But we parked and were on our way.
When we returned to the garage, a different attendant was working. After they tried to charge me again as I mentioned before, he couldn’t find my key. At first, the attended was like I am not sure what you want me to do and asked if I had a spare. After I told him it doesn’t matter if I have a spare I need my key. He eventually called his boss and the attendant from the morning eventually returned with our key 15 mins later. He was annoyed he had to come back and offered no apology or explanation. I get people make mistakes and accidents happen, but my key should have been in a secure spot not his pocket. It shouldn’t have even been possible for him to leave with it after his shift.
I was with my mom and what really bothered me was how rude they were to her specifically and if I wasn’t there with her I am sure they would’ve been dismissive and taken advantage of her (charging her again and likely taking longer with returning the key).
I do want to recommend the app spot hero. When this happened I called the customer service line. While they couldn’t do anything in the moment, as they really are just a middle man between customers and the lot, the representative was very helpful.
