The elevator on the Bronxwood side is constantly out of order. How are people supposed to do grocery shopping or laundry? I have to wash some of my clothes by hand this evening by hand because I am unable to take the entire load downstairs to the laundry room. How are the mostly elderly tenants supposed to run errands and go their medical appointments of the elevator isn't working? To add insult to injury, one of the recent times that elevator was out of order, the current building manager had the nerve to type and print out retaliation letters and slide them under the doors of coop members because someone called 311 about the elevator which was their right. The management of Surrey Coop collects maintenance money every month and this is what we have to live with. Strange how there isn't a "super" market, just markets. You have to go far. Meanwhile there is a fine fair being built right next door that should have been completed last year. Looks like nothing is being done and this neighborhood needs it
The place was built a long time ago so it's outdated at different junctions. The bathroom has old pink tiles, kitchen has a wall stove and a counter top range separate from each other.
