I'm so SHOCKED about T-Mobile (and this store specifically where I bought the service) that I would NEVER EVER buy any service from it not to mention recommend it as I used to back in 2011 when they provided at least a fair service (I recommended T-Mobile to everyone visiting NYC). The story starts with me buying a US$ 50 monthly prepaid plan (Internet/Edge - Unlimited Talk Text & Web) in the third week of November 2012 and being a Brazilian tourist. Firstly, I was treated rudely (in a way the saleswoman thought I didn't have a clue about the T-Mobile Data Plans - excuse me!!!....we have internet in Brazil and we "read the writing on the label" on your website (I knew EXACTLY what I wanted) even before arriving in NYC. Secondly and the most absurd part: the service DIDN'T WORK in MANHATTAN. Wait....I guess the store is at 307 Madison, NYC!!!!! By going back and ask what was going on, T-mobile said that it had to do with Sandy (storm) and they couldn't give my money back (non-refundable). Wait a minute...Did they sell a service that wasn't working??? I felt like I was ABSOLUTELY robbed. We, Brazilians, look up to Americans. Every time when a Brazilian says something like Americans are cold, etc, I completely disagree and defend them, particularly New Yorkers. I've always been treated with respect in NYC . B&H, Calvin Klein, etc, they give your money back if you are not satisfied with the goods they sell. That's why I still have a HUGE respect for some companies in NYC. I thought I'd would let it go but I think I have a moral obligation with people like me who is out there working like crazy, earning a living. Dear T-mobile, money doesn't grow on tree! Read moreAMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Vanessa and Carla the Mobile Experts were so patient with me. I needed a phone s my was stolen earlier that morning as i was leaving out of town that day. I was Metro customer and wanted to transfer service We even had small conversations to kill time. They were very knowledgeable about promotions and was so friendly. The whole team was exceptional! Gustavo the store manager and Ali the Assistant SM made my time much smoother even if i was there a couple hours lol. They offer me bottle water while waited. I didnt mind how long i was in there because the staff there were so profession and all seemed to enjoy what they do. I know us customers can be alot to deal with people complain about phone bills, service terminations, princing etc. They were all so gracious. Im not from here but i always hear New Yorkers are mean but not these individuals. They definitely busted that stereotype. I walked out with not only being satisfied but confident my money was well spent, even if did purchased 2 iphones and an apple watch!- an early birthday gift to me i suppose! They staff gave me a TMobile swag bag for showing my appreciation. They can take all my money at this point!...
Read moreSpenser was really nice and professional, I got my iPhone mini upgraded with him, he was respectful and kind, but whenever he would ask the female manager for help she would give him attitude in front of me, I even had to ask her is everything okay and she said yes... like whatever drama you guys have keep that away from the customer because I felt the tension and the attitude of the manager it's like she was bother by him, then I witness the manager just being dry to the old lady, she asked for help and the female manager said I'm helping the guy in the front, I work in customer service and I would have just said I'm so sorry I'm helping the guy in the front but as soon as I'm done I can help you too, instead she said if it's a quick question then I can help and the lady looked bother and said no its okay I'll wait and then after I was done, spencer helped the old lady, no matter if you don't like an employee as a manager you have to stay professional and do not show that kind of behavior to the customer.
