Im an athlete, lift 6x per week, track calories pretty consistently, and have several body composition and health goals.

I came to Bella with three nagging problems; extremely tight hips - one side would sting with pain when sitting too long, a strained groin muscle, and a pulled hamstring from 7 months prior to working with her that “healed” with scar tissue all around it. Since lifting heavy, I couldn’t stretch or do enough mobility work to reverse these on my own…

Thank god I worked with Bella once a week for 6 weeks straight before I moved out of NYC. I felt noticeable improvement after session one.

The improvements have been tremendous. She got all of the scar tissue out, painful in the session, but so helpful to my mobility, more confidence in that hamstring, and it takes me 2 sets to warmup vs 5 before.

The groin and hips have opened up by ~75%. Pain isn’t completely gone yet but I couldn’t be happier with the progress there. She’s obviously worked on the rest of my body during then and many knots in my neck/upper back have completely gone away too.

Bella is legitimate, 10 years of massage training at a respected school in Thailand, came to the States a few years ago and got the proper licensing to work here in CA & NY.

I think you can find a relaxing Swedish massage anywhere, and while Bella would do you well, I would strongly recommend her to people suffering difficult/painful/nagging injuries. I’ve tried many forms of deep tissue massages that didn’t help my body before, but for Bella’s Thai based deep tissue movement massage I would pay whatever...

I had a shoulder pain. The area that bothered me the most were trapezius and rotator cuff. I decided to get massage with Bella. She began the session with Thai massage technique to release the fascia. Her pressure was perfect (I like firm pressure). Then she applied oil on my back and worked on my knots - this is the painful part, but I knew I need it! it was a good pain!
