So disappointed with my experience with the Brazi shop. Back in Feb 2020 I purchased a brazi package. I was supposed to book my first appointment in March but yea the pandemic shut us down. I love supporting small businesses and have worked with customers for my whole career. I know just how difficult people can be so I try to be understanding of any situation. I didnāt know how long the shutdown would be so I never requested a refund. I figured itās a small business that is most likely struggling to adhere to restrictions. I thought I could trust that I would receive my services when things opened back up. I received an email that said if I had purchased a package that I should expect a call or email between June 1st and 15th to book an appointment. I DMed her on insta on the 15th since I hadnāt gotten a call or email. She stated that I was called and emailed āto no availā At the time I thought it was possible I could have missed the call and email and was disappointed that even though I had contacted her within the time frame she simply said appointments were closed and didnāt offer further options. Later I checked my emails and phone logs and realized she had lied and never contacted me. I guessed she was busy and just had a lot on her plate so I could book once she opened up the appointments to everyone else. Since she began opening up bookings it has been volatile. The bookings would open up in the middle of the night 12 am, sometimes 2 weeks at a time other times 1 week etc. In her emails she stated that if a date is not available itās because sheās booked or closed. After she opened up it was exceedingly difficult to get an appointment. Sometime in august I realized she had charged me but I didnāt know why. She must have noticed and sent an email saying I was charged by accident and got a refund. I appreciated that she noticed but didnāt realize it would be held against me. I continued to be patient with her being so busy. I understand with covid & the holidays are busy & know small businesses are going through it. Sheās a human being running a business where she doesnāt have a dozen employees. Finally January 3rd when I realized that I wasnāt getting anywhere with a booking I placed myself on a waitlist. I was called by her receptionist and in the midst of that coordination I asked why I needed a deposit since I had purchased a package. She said sheād look into it. The receptionist called me back and said that my package was no longer valid and I had lost itās value. I explained how hard itās been to book and how I was never even contacted when they said they did. She tried to justify it by saying I was actually never supposed to expect a call (even though they lied and said they had called). She also falsely accused me of not showing up to an appointment in august which was actually when they charged me by accident. She also said if I had simply called them even ONE week before that they could have helped me sort something out. In the emails she sends she usually makes it clear that bookings are made on the website and not to call. I told the receptionist this and she continued to tell me that I shouldāve called. As if Iām a mind reader thatās supposed to know I shouldnāt listen to the emails and simply try to call to demand a booking. The way I see it is if your busy I canāt force you NOT to be busy and expect her to run herself into the ground. She set boundaries and I was simply trying to respect that. I fully understand that there is a pandemic and scheduling was a disaster because we were beholden to the whims of capacity and shutdown regulations, none of that bothered me until she was not considerate in return & didnāt acknowledge she lied and didnāt care to try to find a resolution to...

The shop itself is very discrete (not on the ground floor), clean, and from the moment I walked in the receptionist was so inviting and friendly! I only waited about 5 minutes before the tech brought me in and had me get set up. I told her it was my first time so she walked me through exactly what was going to happen and what to expect pain-wise. She then chatted with me through the whole appointment, making sure I was comfortable and reminding me to breathe. She was very clean (disinfecting before and after, changing gloves and applicators after each use, masked) and very thorough, directing me the best way to adjust. It was over before I knew it!
When I was done, she made sure I knew what to do over the next few days and that I was happy with the results. I was THRILLED!! I couldnāt believe how quick and painless it was, then I couldnāt believe how much I loved how I looked and felt!
I already have my next appointment scheduled (doing my armpits too this time!) and I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone! First-timer...

After much searching and reading some many great reviews about The Brazi Shop I went ahead and booked an appointment with Aniusha Ortiz. I arrived about 10 min early and was seen on time. The salon was bright, calm and cozy I loved the ambience. This is going to be my new waxing home. Aniusha is a wonderful waxing specialist; She works quickly, efficiently and with no pain. I hardly notice where she started to when she was done. Iām so happy with the work that was done, the salon is super clean and she disinfected every step of the way(hands, table and no reuse of any instruments).
