2 Bros Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I have a friend who goes by JKO and he left a review on here recently praising this place and told me about the dollar pizzas. I stopped eating pizza because they are expensive everywhere and when he told me about this place being a $1 a slice I decided to go earlier today with my 2 kids and saw the big sign outside that said $1.50 for a slice and $4 for 2 slices and a soda. I actually thought they were going to be $1 from what my friend told me and I didn't know they were going to go up within a few days. I called him and told him about this and he said he just went there a few days ago and they were still $1 and after telling him this he said he won't be going back here no more. It's a shame because I was looking forward to this and become a regular customer at this place. I understand that inflation is hitting everyone but every cent counts. I did it for this time only but unfortunately, I won't be going back because I had my 2 daughters with me and didn't want to disappoint them after telling them we were going out for pizza. $1 slices will be a thing of the past from now on. Sorry, but no hard feelings as we all have to try to economize as much as we could. This could have been a great thing in the long run. Just now I ordered 2 large pies(one of extra cheese and the other one, just with pineapple) and the guy charged me $36...ridiculous...I'm not saying that those ingredients are free..but obviously this person at the cashier was trying to take advantage of me..a lady with her daughter ordered 2 large pies..one of cheese and the other one of pepperoni..he charged them $22..with the order that I did, always I was paying $25..even with prices changing in these difficult times, apparently I was victim of a person that was looking extra money for Sunday night. I love the flavor of this pizzeria but the manager has to make sure how to put in charge a guy with knowledge in how to treat customers who usually buy from...

The food was okay it wasn’t great the man was rude as hell and was rushing like if it was a lot of people in there when it was me and another person and the when I got my pizza and my change witch was 50 cent I asked him to give me a dollar for it because I gave another 50 to make a dollar so I wanted a dollar in exchange and the man went all the way off like if I asked him to for an extreme request the guy even in the shop was looking like what just happened.
