2024 New York's Must-Try Dining Spots & Cocktail Bars

I’ve been searching for years to find a workout that truly speaks to me. As I’ve gotten older, my body doesn’t respond to the same workouts I did when I was younger. I’d been wanting to try The Class for a while, but was nervous to go. My apprehension came from other group classes where I’ve felt like I was too out of shape, couldn’t keep up and ultimately left feeling depleted and defeated. I finally asked a friend who agreed to join me. The Class is completely different. It smells like a spa, it’s gorgeously decorated and the staff are approachable and kind. Definitely no ā€œcool kidā€ attitudes here. The workout is inclusive, supportive and inspiring. There are people from all walks of life and all shapes and sizes. Once you step inside, you’ll immediately be inspired by the meticulously curated playlists. The music is so good, it’s worth mentioning. The instructors will meet you where you’re at and encourage you to meet yourself where you’re at. There’s no pressure to keep up and all movements can be modified. You dig deep into your heart & soul in the best way possible with the support of their lovely team. I can’t really explain just how cathartic this workout truly is, but every time I leave there, I can not wait to go back. I’m so happy I’ve found The Class.

If you want an amazing workout, whether in their studio or online at their new streaming service, and you’d also like to walk away feeling a little lighter and clearer about who you are in the world, this is the workout for you. When I can’t get there in person I do the online program and it’s just as good!!

I went in person when I was in the city last and loved it. This is saying a lot because I used to despise cardio. I hated burpees with passion and generally had a hard time motivating myself to exercise. But after attending once, something moved internally. I have now started doing The Class nearly every day via the livestream. I genuinely enjoy it; it gives me something meaningful that I was missing from exercising for exercise’s sake. Today in class Karla talked about the deeper meaning of putting our bodies through physical stress - for our longevity; to strengthen the heart physically and spiritually; to be there for ourselves and loved ones. These small shifts in mindset make the type of exercise that I used to hate and avoid not only enjoyable but rejuvenating and refreshing. I’ll be back in the studio in person next time I’m...

A good friend brought me here to try and pull me out of a slump and the first time I didn’t enjoy as much as I should have because I couldn’t get out of my head. Luckily I went back with the same friend and had the time of my life. It’s mostly (if not all) women in the class and there is zero judgement or attitude, which I find all too common in these luxurious boutique fitness places.

The studio itself is pristine and the people who work there are lovely. The class itself is set to music and a well balanced mix of dance, self love, therapy, jumping jacks and the inevitable burpee segment. It’s a great workout for the body but also for the mind and you really leave refreshed and a little enlightened.

I’m sure the instructors are all great and they’re all very well trained in this ā€œmethodā€ but I had a particularly amazing time...
