Sports bar of my dreams! I used to live in New York and prayed that there was a sports bar as amazing as Brickyard. I was in town visiting and wanted a place to watch Sunday football and a friend recommended this to me. Not only is this is truly a question as a sports bar with TVs lining the walls of the entire place. But the food is delicious, the drinks feel like you are at a craft cocktail bar (I mean what sports bar serves lychee martini is and they were very tasty). Also, the service was exceptional. Erica was our server, she was very helpful and kind. The manager was also super accommodating when a few of our party was late. I took some pictures of the food, I’m not a food blogger, so they’re not the greatest photos but just wanted to point out I’ll get the food was. I will be here every Sunday if I still lived in the city! Ps best chicken tenders I’ve ever had!

Albeit short, this place is buzzing with great atmosphere, huge amount of screens, and good food. Their sister bar is the All Star on 57th. Don't miss either!

Overall it’s a typical sports bar. Loud music over voices and a million screens for sports. My expectations were low for food given that its a sports bar but if you want food with your drink and friends to fill you up while you watch a game, don’t come here. I ordered wings and not only were half of my wings raw inside (check photos) but they charged a $1 extra for a small cup of ranch and $2 extra for a small plate of celery. I assume they cook the flats and sticks together but the drumsticks are so thick that the meat doesn’t cook all the way through. All in all it was $20 bucks for 8 pieces of half cooked chicken, some sauce and some watery and warm celery sticks. Find somewhere else to eat if you can.

This was our second time visiting Brickyard I recalled that this used to be Barleycorn and was huge. They made a great decision with the space. Loved all of the tvs and being able to watch your fave team. BENNY our server was amazing! More about him later. The first time we visited it was on a Saturday and it was nice watching college football. We sat at the bar, everyone was attentive and we knew we wanted to come back on a Sunday for football. This past Sunday we booked reserved seating but was unsure whether we could see our game on the tv based on where we sat. Luckily they put our Ravens game on a tv right in front of us. We sat at the high top closer to the stairs going to the bathroom. We ordered pretty decent wings (ordered half buffalo and half dry rub cajun) but we are not fans of jumbo wings. I know go figure lol. We also had the Thai spring rolls they were just ok. Later on, we ordered the chicken quesadillas. DELICIOUS it was filled with flavorful grilled chicken, and the pico and avocado were excellent. It's lower Manhattan so pricey but next time we go we will know what to order that will make us feel it was worth the money. Great football Sunday atmosphere space at the hightop is tight but luckily the people that sat next to us were Ravens fans as well. NOW ABOUT BENNY!!!! He was amazing he made our day he was attentive, charming and gave the best customer service ever. Honestly, I was feeling a bit underwhelmed by the staff we had encountered up to that point but from the moment Benny came over to us I knew we were in good hands. We plan to come back and we want to be there when Benny is working. He held conversations with us even though it was super busy and he just made the whole day more enjoyable than we expected. My team lost but we won being...

Really awful service. My fiancƩ and I feel like they tried to take advantage of us because they knew we were tourists.

We came here tonight. We each ordered a drink off of the regular menu handed to us by our bartender (mine was supposed to be $15, his $12.50). Somehow our total came out to over $40. We both questioned it to our bartender (named Edward), and I asked for an itemized receipt. The itemized receipt came back with each of our drinks costing $18.72 (plus tax). I let him know that the menu says something different. Edward (our bartender) told us it was because the menu was showing happy hour prices. I told him ā€œno where on this menu does it say ā€˜happy hourā€™ā€. He says ā€œoh… everyone knows this is happy hour. But let me give you the happy hour menu to show you the priceā€. Which was just extra confusing, because why would they show happy hour prices on the normal menu?

Anyways, he shows us a separate happy hour menu, and our drinks aren’t even listed on that menu lol. We called him back over, and he waves down his colleague and says ā€œplease explain to them why the prices look like thisā€. His colleague looks at our receipt and says ā€œoh it’s because this price includes both tax and tipā€. Which is false, because (1) this is a different story than what our bartender gave us (2) our itemized receipt showed an additional tax and (3) why did our $12.50 and $15 drinks both somehow equate to $18.72 each on this receipt?

We questioned it again and his colleague says ā€œoh let me fix itā€. They came back with a different receipt, and they somewhat fixed it. They still overcharged us by $0.58 but we just didn’t want to deal with it anymore. We paid, didn’t tip, and left. Will NEVER...

I used to come here occasionally in the 2000's up until 9 years ago. It was always okay. I recently came back a couple times these past few weeks and the last time the service wasn't so good, and the food wasn't anything to write home about either. The mozzarella sticks were fine but the marinara sauce was thin, like water. The last time, however, I ordered a steak, and the bartender asked for my credit card to hold onto. I asked why and was told that people have been dining and dashing as of late. I asked what it was about me that gave off the dine and dash vibe but just got a blank stare. I'll wait for the servers to turn over there before I decide to visit this establishment again. BTW, the NY Strip looked as though it was cut in half lengthwise and was not warm, and the potatoes were probably instant. Not worth the price paid - either monetarily or in self-esteem for actually staying there.

In response to the owner: You completely ignored my statement "... I recently came back a couple times these past few weeks" This happened July 19th 2024, two and a half weeks ago. Thank you for your heads up about your policy going forward. In that case I'll make sure I never visit your...
