This review is not to bash anyone. This is meant for construction criticism for the salon so that in the future they can tend to their clients’ needs better.
Elianny was the nail tech who took care of me. My gel pedicure is actually decent My gel/acrylic nails, however, were terrible. I did not take a picture of the nails, but I can explain what happened. I asked Elianny for really short, almond shaped acrylic tips with gel polish. This is what I ALWAYS get and have never had an issue when asking for this. She started my nails, and I noticed the shape she was giving to the nails was not the almond shape I wanted. I pointed it out to her, and she expressed that she does not like telling the client she doesn’t know how to do something, so she at least wanted to try. I ended up with like 3-4 different shapes on all of my nails, all square, no where near almond shaped. I was in a rush and I do not like giving people a hard time, so I paid for my nails ($105 for a bad job to be exact) and left.
A few days later, I called the salon so that I can get my nails fixed because I could not get over how badly done they were. Especially since these will be the nails I will have for my baby shower as well.
I booked another appointment after telling a manager (Lupe) about my experience a few days before. Not only did she seem annoyed at me wanting to get my nails redone, but she also said “it’ll be $30 for gel only for today”. I told her I’ll pay it although it wasn’t my fault that I had to get them redone. Her attitude while doing my nails was not fair to me because up until that point I had been very nice and patient despite already having a bad experience here.
Lupe redid my acrylic gel polish, she did take her time trying to fix them, so I appreciated that. At first, they looked perfect. Once she was done, I STILL noticed errors in my nails! My thumb nails do not match in size or shape, and I have two or three nails that were not painted neatly or properly. $40 more down the drain.
Once again, this is not to bash the salon!!! But FINAL TOUCH needs to listen to their clients because judging from these two times I’ve visited, I do not trust them enough with my money to come back and give them another chance. Please make sure your nail techs know what they’re doing!
Por favor mujeres, esto no es para ofender a nadie. Lamentablemente, e ido dos veces y las dos veces no me hicieron un buen trabajo, no me hicieron sentir cómoda y...
Read moreI have been searching for a nail salon since I recently moved to the Bronx. My fiancé recommended this location based on the positive reviews. My first visit was definitely a 5 star experience. I loved my nails so much I decided to go back with my mother in law. I called on 2 different occasions and they were booked. Nevertheless I continued trying and booked in advance for the next day for us both. Unfortunately due to a snow storm we ran a little late about 10-15 mins late . When we arrived we were told that only one of us could be taken care of despite the fact that we had appointments for 2 people. I understand that we were late but they did not even try to fit us in for a later time or something. My mother in law got her hair done while they did my nails. I did sns powder and chose a green color. Marisol did my nails and it came out gray due to the fact that the color was not applied enough times twice on one hand and once on the other. I’ve included pictures. You can see right through the color to the nail . Eventually they did my mother in laws nails because it was so dead in there. Overall my second experience was 0 stars . This place needs a better system for handling scheduling for clients. We were here from 12:40 and they next clients came in at 2:17 . I think that was adequate time to get 2 people done. I do not know wether I will return due to this...
Read moreI use to love this place. I went there for over a year. Then recently, I made an appointment, I showed up to my appointment. I was then notified the nail tech canceled. Would have not been mad however, there was only one nail tech working there at the time I arrived (around 12). She had a one hour and 30 min wait. I waited since on Sunday not that many businesses are open and not that many people work Sundays. When it was finally my turn, I was informed she doesn’t do nail designs. I waited so long for plain nails. What nail tech doesn’t do designs? I wonder if she was really a nail tech. Lastly the nail tech almost charged me full price, like I was gonna pay $25 for horrible service. Never returning again. She didn’t even do a good job. A kid could’ve done my nails better. I had to go to another salon to get them redone. Go to Nails Forever, not the...
