Kennedy Fried Chicken — Restaurant in New York

I think most folks can say, every Kennedys is NOT equal. That said, this one is popular, and consistent. There's a reason why locals keep staying on Allerton Ave for chicken. The guy that works late nights, and is a wonderful person. When i cross paths with him in the neighborhood, he stops to say hi. He "loves" my God Daughter who comes in all the time with me. He is just a good spirited man, and professional as well. The food isn't crazy greasy (i mean it's fried, but.....), and the fries always bring me back. Kennedy Fried Chicken is a hit or miss fast food restaurant (this strongly depends on the cooks at each individual Kennedy restaurant). Some of the cooks at Kennedy FC restaurants do not thoroughly season the chicken. However, others do. My main concern is the freshness of the chicken. Lately, the chicken taste and looks unfresh (is unfresh a word?... Please forgive me if it's not). Well anyway, the chicken has a greyish pale color and sometimes a funny taste.
