King Wok — Restaurant in New York

DO NOT ORDER HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISRESPECTED AND IGNORED! HORRIBLE CURSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Honestly, I've been going here for a year now and I truly haven't noticed the blanton disrespect until now.

I called ahead for my order as I always do and was told to come in after 10min. So I came in after 15min. When I arrive there is a Black man in front of me waiting to have his order taken. There are 2 cooks and the tall woman who's always working the counter. The tall woman proceeds to unpack sodas, stack containers, and wash dishes as the man in front of me patiently waits to have his order taken. Once she finally acknowledges his presence and takes his order she then gives him such a hard time with his order to a point where he had to repeat the order 3 times to her face. She then writes it all down and leaves to do more tasks. As I'm waiting at the counter for several minutes to be acknowledged I then attempt to grab the tall woman's attention. She doesn't acknowledge me at all! I then begin to shout "hey I ordered for pick-up" every time she walks by and I'm still being ignored.

Once I realized that my food was just sitting there on the counter the entire time I just left to Lucky Smile up the block and made the same exact order. Of course they greeted me with a smile and go my food out to me within 5 minutes of me being there. I actually got my order before I was able to finish writing all of this! I couldn't believe my food was out the entire time I was waiting there and I didn't even get acknowledged when I arrived!

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THERE EVEN IF YOU CALL AHEAD IT DOES NO MATTER! THEY ARE EXTREMELY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!!! Go to Lucky Smile...

I would give this place a negative 100. The lady taking orders is nasty, no customer service she rushes you to take your order, God forbid you add something to the order she starts to complain she doesn't know how to speak to people and the store is filthy I dont know how they pass State inspection, they must of know the person doing it. I would never eat here. On top of her being short tempered, she doesn't speak English properly. How can you be mad at your customer for not speaking English properly if you ask for help? You will find it. I am not sure how this place is still open. The floor and kitchen match her attitude and her mouth dirty. You can't have a nasty attitude and cook people food. If you are tired, someone else should take over your shift. I tried to ask a question, and the other lady in the kitchen with her ignored me, picked up her phone, and played like she didn't hear me. Never will I ever support...

I’ve been going to king wok for years since I’ve lived in the neighborhood as well as brought them customers but more recently the youngest girl there who answers the phone is straight out rude. She always answers the phone with an attitude and is quick to rush off the phone. We tried to call several times today to place an order and we weren’t even done placing our order and she hung up the phone. We called back and tried to complain while she was on the phone and she put the phone down to ignore us. Don’t go here! They don’t deserve your time or your money if they can’t treat their loyal customers with respect. I won’t ever recommend them again for all the times that one girl messed up! It doesn’t matter if she’s a family member to the business, get rid of her because you are definitely losing...
