I'm reading reviews. Listen to me . You will be shocked that a plant based diet , CHIA SEEDS, FLAX SEED POWDERā”and certain seafoods ( oysters clams, the good quality salmon has omega 3. Look it up) These are excellent for reduction in psychotic episodes. Drink bottled water more than 4x(or Brita water). Stop your smoking and drinking!!! Instead, get the hell out of your room and jog or walk by the beach or park, as far as you can go. Place your feet on clean green grass or sand and walk( grounding). Look into herbal supplements for brain, Minerals CONCENTRATED OILS TOO. Studies show these are necessary for improvement of brain function.. EAT HEALTHY!! EAT HEALTHY!!!! EXCERCISE!!! SUN!! reassure you this will help a lot with psychotic episodes. I'm a believer in GOD, and I will pray for you . Doctors only have expertise in medicine and helping BIG PHARMA make millions!!! They have little to NO knowledge on healthy eating, holistic approach( Barbara O' Neil), and the power of greens, beans, legumes, concentrated oils, powdered supplements, and vitamin supplements. Don't give up. You are beautiful remind yourself you are. I know because my friend has a brain chemical imbalance like you do.ā¤ļøā¤ļøā𩹠MY biggest supporter, guide, and heavenly father ........ My LOVING GODā¤ļø ( On the Internet, there is a list of vitamins for brain chemical imbalances, but please, you MUST also eat healthy!!!š„š„„Magnesium for sleepš¤š“ Less stress, better health, less psychotic...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was by far the worst psychiatric treatment experience Iāve ever had. In fact, there is no real treatment offered at this clinic. Instead, the patient here is used as a practice dummy for a rotation of inexperienced interns/residents who, in turn, make all their mistakes on you before graduating and immediately moving on to a more lucrative situation. Then you are assigned to another inexperienced student. Rinse and repeat.
Should you be frustrated by this process, donāt expect anyone to treat you as an individual with your own unique treatment needs. You are there to fulfill their needs not the other way around.
If by some sad misfortune you do end up here, you have my sympathies. I wouldnāt wish this experience on anyone, especially not someone who is vulnerable and desperately seeking help for serious mental health challenges. All you will ever be at this clinic is a student project. Your best hope is that you get an āAā student rather than one who squeaks by with a āC.ā
My advice: go somewhere else if at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHow Emil Achmad is able to practice despite incorrectly stating a patient is unable to feed herself, and thus needs older antipsychotics (IM) like invega which risks ideation, despite showing capacity to decide as risks did not outweigh benefits given no safety concerns, baffles me. The judge had to remind Dr Achmad he was under oath, and had to repeatedly ask at least 2 if not 3x for discharge date. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! How he still has a license is beyond me? How he's still able to practice is also beyond me. He exemplifies how archaic psychiatry is. Theres plenty of newer medications with less detrimental side effects, but has he kept up with the research? Cookie cutter approach. Lack-luster. F for fail. Who passed this guy...
