Thai Peppercorn — Restaurant in New York

I used to order from here for work (and I would order for more than 5 people at a time) and the ladies who would answer the phone are very courteous and kind on the phone. This time around, the woman who answered barked that I should call at 11:15 instead of 11am (their ad said they open at 11am). I called at the stated time but no one answered until 10 minutes after when the same lady who barked at me earlier answered the phone. Took my order and told me that unless I use a private number (I used my work number) I cannot use a credit card to pay. Fine, I gave my cellphone which they have a record already, she took my order in a rush and told me 1 -1.5 hours to deliver. I am willing to overlook that since I did love their food. It came 35 minutes after I ordered so I was happy. When I opened it 2 items were missing so called the restaurant which took an extra 15 minutes because no one was answering the phone. I told them 2 items were missing and I specified which items (beef pad see ew and crab rangoon). Delivery guy came and gave me 1 of the items (my patience wore off at this point). I called the restaurant and the same woman informed me that they did not have one of the ingredients of the crab rangoon so it was not made. So I asked why was it included as the sides of the lunch specials I ordered but not as a separate appetizer. Then she became very snide and imperiously told me that they are very busy and they have no time to call and tell their customers (the people who they depend on to keep their restaurant going) that they are out of the item that was ordered. This restaurant that I ate at work today served me my pitiful order after the person behind me got his larger order. The lady that I paid in front looked like she just remembered that I was still there after I peeked inside the kitchen. My tofu app and rice came in two containers. The tofu came in a heat safe plastic box and the rice came in a plastic pint. The 7 pieces tofu were too dry and bland and the chili garlic sauce tasted like duck sauce that had red pepper tossed in. The jasmine rice was not filling and I saw that pictures online showed a proper takeout box of rice. For the price of 11.24, I wish I could give an even more critical review on Google because this place will steal your hard...

My wife and I ordered two pad Thai chicken. One was spicy. We ordered out, but decided on staying to eat. When I started to eat the container that had spicy written on it, there was no space to it. When I asked for spices to be added the one cooking said that they could not add spice because there’s no refund if it’s too spicy. My question is why charge me for spicy and put spicy on the container, but add no spice to it. It’s unethical to charge for some thing and not provide it.
