I went to this LabCorp location today to get my blood drawn. The people at the front desk were very polite. When I was called back by a technician to take my blood, he was not pleasant, he was rude. I saw him get what looked like a large needle from the cabinet, so I asked him if he could use a butterfly needle. He made a grunting sound, put the needle back, and left the room. He came back with a woman. She got what looked like the same needle. I asked if she could use a butterfly needle, and she said that they were out. I told her that I would go to another lab. She said, "No, no. This will be fine." I am petite and have small veins. I have never had to ask a tech to use a butterfly needle. Whoever draws my blood usually uses a small needle and I don't have problems with phlebotomists. It was very painful when she jammed the needle in my vein. She was moving it, and I told her not to move it, just take it straight out. She didn't take the needle out like I asked and it was extremely painful. So I said very loudly, "Get it out! Take it out of my arm! I was angry and speaking loudly. A young girl with a white lab coat comes in and tells me that I couldn't scream at the technician and that they do have butterfly needles, but they were only used on kids, and that LabCorp didn't give them enough butterfly needles to use on adults. She said, "If you have a problem with it, you can talk to LabCorp!" I was so upset, she began a verbal fight with me, smiling at me the more upset I became. Finally, two of her colleagues took her by her arms and escorted her away from me. I have never had an experience like the one I had today. When you are not well, and you are upset, the last thing you need is someone trying extra hard to make things more difficult for you. That was my first and my last time I will ever go to a LabCorp. Any LabCorp. And if a doctor's office draws my blood, I will tell them not to send it to LabCorp. I'm dumbfounded as to how that girl keeps her job there. Whatever...

I scheduled an appointment at Labcorp for Saturday, 5/24/2025 at 12:00 PM and tried multiple times to call their listed number (212-289-4358) beforehand to confirm the appointment. Unfortunately, no one ever picked up despite repeated attempts. I had no choice but to go in person.
When I arrived, I was met with an incredibly unwelcoming attitude from the female technician. She did not greet or communicate with anyone in the waiting area — you were simply expected to sit down and wait without any acknowledgment or direction. I ended up waiting for approximately 40 minutes.
Finally, she called my name, only to tell me that they do not perform the lab work I had scheduled. She then handed me a list of alternative Labcorp locations — all of which were already closed, as their Saturday hours were only from 8 AM to 11 AM. She gave no explanation or assistance, just a paper and a dismissive attitude.
This entire experience was incredibly frustrating, unprofessional, and a complete waste of my time. Poor communication, rude service, and a total lack of accountability. I strongly advise against using this Labcorp location. Do yourself a favor and...
Read moreOne of the best Labcorp in the city, hands down. I have been to others and what a nightmare, there could be 3 patients waiting for lab work to be done in a location near me and you will be waiting for an hour (eye roll). It seems as though they do everything and anything they can NOT to help you or draw your blood. Attitude like why are you here? Names? We don't have in the system, call doc office and they say we sent in a week ago. I don't see it in our system, email it, email it to me again. This location, I walk in, I am greeted, there is a concierge (tech with Superman mask on) at check-in kiosk HELPING you, about 7 patients (one with an issue at the front desk). Afterward, I was in and out in 15 minutes. Easy peasy. Phlebotomist was extremely gentle and quick. I just wish I lived closer. My location, the should just have robots draw your blood after you check in on the kiosk, it would be friendlier, more...
