The women charged me $100 for dip powder tips with french. I was going to a wedding the next day so I had no other option. However, as I walked out and saw the price list, the charge did not coincide with any price listed so she either overcharged me or gave me a discount. I guess this is why she whispered the price to me. Needless to say, one nail broke and all nails already look like they need a filing one week later. The worse part was hearing her demand a tip from each customer when they paid their bill like she uses tips as salaries for her employees. If tips are required, then say that. I would love to give U & Me 12 stars if I could! All the ladies are AMAZING, and Angela is my #1. I get the dip powder - this salon does it perfectly! Not at all too thick, perfect shape, and lasts for at least 3 weeks. Also- I have super brittle nails, and I have been able to grow my nails out longer because of Angela! This salon is super accommodating, they will stay late if you have an emergency, and will fix any broken nail when needed (if it happens soon after your appointment, sometimes even free of charge). I couldn’t recommend this salon more - even when I moved down to the east village for 2 years I was coming uptown...

Walked by this place and came in for a gel manicure. The woman who did my nails did not know how to cut cuticle. At all. She attempted to just smooth out the cuticle area instead of doing a thorough cuticle cutting. When I asked for her to do it properly, she hesitated multiple times and continued doing as she pleased. I couldn’t take the poor quality so I left mid appointment and went to a different place one block away on 1st Ave and 78st. What a difference! Save your time and money!!!
