NYC FRAMES — Attraction in New York

We went in a couple times and looked around. We met with Joe the owner. We had 5 pieces. 1 canvas to stretch, one medium sized piece of art to frame, and three autographed sports jerseys. To do everything came in a little bit more expensive than we wanted. Joe worked closely with us in order to find the right frames at the right price. When we first saw our framed art, we were pretty much blown away. The craftsmanship and quality of everything was excellent. This place is absolutely horrible. I purchased a Groupon worth $100, and the owner inflated the price and still tried to charge me a substantial amount. I refused to pay such a high price for a simple frame without the glass front cover. The owner agreed to drop the price. When I was told to come at 5:00pm (weeks later) to pick up the finished frame, it was not ready. Instead, the owner said "Relax..what's the rush". After an argument, the owner cursed at me repeatedly. It was not pleasant to do business at this place. I wanted to call the police because I was scared. Loved Joe’s service and quality work! I ordered a print to decorate my bare walls... I shared some photos with him and he suggested the proper frame style and it came out beautifully! It looks as if it should be hanging in a museum. Made a huge difference in our my home. Truly experts and such great service. Joe helped hang it for me as well. I actually changed the location based off his recommendation — he knew where best to place it — I also ordered a mirror from him for the original location based off his recommendation.
