What a fantastic experience and a great guide! Thanks to Sandra, I learned a lot about the history of NY from colonial times to the present day. Never knew that so many important events in our country's founding had actually happened here! I loved the tour of Greenwich Village, where she led us to all sorts of hidden gems I probably would never have found otherwise, from charming little streets to community theatre to cozy neighborhood bistros, great places to get pizza, and historic bars, including the oldest one in NY (from the 19th century)! Sandra has a ton of knowledge about where to go and what to do when in NY. Thanks to her recommendations, I had a wonderful evening in the village. And she's an amazing storyteller to boot, like an old friend you get to catch up with when visiting from out of town. So I'd say Sandra's tour definitely lived up to the name. It was one of the best personalised tour I have ever taken so far. Sandra was brilliant through out the tour and she was very prompt in pinging me a week in advance and making sure the starting point and time and schedule are aligned and she was flexible too She was also very kind in accommodating some of the attractions that were not part of the tour. Her sound knowledge of history of NYC was very helpful in explaining every landmark we visited She was patient enough to take lots of pics and she knows the perfect spots for nice pics and at the same time stay away from the crowd She also took us to some iconic eateries (pizza place and cheese cake shop) Overall I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this NYC tour and I can proudly say I know about NYC and its history more than my friends who are staying for years :) I would highly recommend anyone who wants to visit NYC to take...

Friendly guide that showed us tons of places that we never would have found on our own. Great thing about her was that she was very flexible and able to adjust the tour according to what different people wanted to see. There was a ton of walking and with seeing so many sites in a group there were places that we liked that we had to rush through for the sake of time. Sandy, our guide, did her best to give us breaks which we appreciated. Also I would add that though the guide told us things about every place we didn't really go into great depth at any one location, but with but the amount of places we visited that would have been hard.
