I had a very unpleasant experience at the store where the manager Vic- just accused me of trying to scam the store. And spoke to me as if I was an idiot, which I doubt he would have done to a man. I bought an phones a few months ago and within the first week I had to take it to the real Verizon store for service-- there was a defect in the phone--so.... I also told my salesperson I was a phone dropper and that the most important thing for me in a case was security from drops. I've had iPhones for years and always had an otterbox- the salesperson told me I didn't need an otter box. He told me to buy the extra shatterproof glass- which he assured me-over and over again-would protect it. And then sold me some case with a flap that he also said would protect it--Well, he was wrong-- and the very first time I dropped the phone-- which was inevitable as I told them..the shatterproof glass got giant cracks in it. and now i see OTHER CUSTOMERS HAD SAME PROBLEM-Im reporting them to Verizon And the case cracked-that protective case he sold me.. and after another drop-also inevitable as I told them--the actual screen is cracked was NOT protected by the protection glass they sold me .... AND since I AM STILL HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE PHONE--as DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE....Verizon will not replace it unless I pay to have the screen fixed.. on a defective phone.
What I find most upsetting- besides the salesperson giving very bad advice- and telling me the glass wouldn't crack... Now they are saying well.. it depends on how you drop it.. UMM-im not stupid.. i have been dropping iPhones for years and never cracked one- in my other cases..they wanted to sell the glass- which is not worth it . And their phones are of questionable integrity--
When I spoke to the salesperson at the Corporate store she told me they would never have recommended that case to someone who admits they drop phones...
they either don't care or don't know what they are talking about AND accused me of trying to scam the store-- when in reality... they are trying to sell the add-ons and then when a customer complains-- balme thecustoer
Vic actually said to me that I just wanted to blame the store-- "if the dog chewed my charger I would say it was the store's fault"
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE- offered nothing to accommodate me and insulted me in a very chauvinistic way and then accused me of trying to rip him off THERE ARE MANY OTHER PLACES TO SHOP- GO TO VERIZON CORPORATE STORE- they are accountable people like...
Read moreHorrible!! Terrible terrible appalling service by condescending customer service representatives. Bought an iPhone screen protector that cracked in my pocket within three weeks, but they won't replace it! I've bought screen protectors before for much lesser than $43.50 they charging, which lasted for years, but this one they're adamant that they won't replace and instead I should buy a new one! Will I buy another product that's defective and won't serve its purpose, then buy another new one from them?? They're alluding to the fact that I may have dropped or smashed my phone which is why the screen cracked! Definitely not appreciative of their accusatory and condescending tone and manner, both ganging up against the customer who just supported their business. Sadly Sammy S and Shireen N Should not be in their jobs.... I agree with Carolina and Chun Fai who sadly went through similar fate as myself. My experience in this shop has been painful and horrible from the beginning so don't trust them and don't go to THIS shop because they just want to take your cash and not responsibility or...
Read moreI brought in an iPhone 6 that suddenly turned off and did not seem to want to charge. I gave it to the sales rep and he looked at it for a few minutes, and then told me it was dead and I needed a new one. I bought a new iPhone. Later that day I got a call from the store telling me they had screwed up the setup and I needed to turn FindMyiPhone off so they could reset it. A few minutes later the phone didn't connect at all to Verizon. I called on another phone and they apologized and then reset the phone again. A few days later I plugged in the old phone to see what would happen. After a few minutes it came on and charged normally. When I went to return the new phone I didn't need, they charged me a $75 restocking fee. They are incompetent, rude, and only interested in moving product, not your happiness as a customer. DO NOT BUY A PHONE THERE! IT IS NOT A VERIZON STORE. They merely put "Verizon" in their signage and are allowed to sell Verizon phones. IF THEY CHEAT YOU VERIZON WILL NOT BE ABLE...
