Tex’s Chicken & Burgers — Restaurant in New York

I'm a big fan of real meat. But I come here for their plant based burger. Patty is very tender. My brother tried it once and never thought about it being plant based until I brought it up. If you can get meat eater to not even think about the type of meat that was used in a burger, you've done a pretty decent job. (And it's only 10 bucks!)

Their regular cheese burgers are good. Their fries are surprisingly great. Feels like no one talks about their crispy on the outside, soft on the inside fries. Never had old, soggy fries here.

I've tried their chicken and biscuit. Pretty decent all around. As for sides, I would say mashed potatoes are kind of lackluster. Almost tastes like store bought, instant kind. Cole slaw tastes like typical Cole slaw. It's not bad.

While part of its name, I would argue it's hard to recommend this place for chicken and sides when there's Popeyes down the avenue, with superior chicken and sides.

In summary, burger are great. Beyond burger alone is worth a visit. Chicken is good but sides are weak. Service is professional but the store is also...

I have to admit this fast food restaurant is better than alot of fast food restaurants.they have burger king & McDonald's beat.They have a good spicy chicken sandwich the bun is nice and soft with mayo pickles. The sandwich has a really good flavor to it. Nice and seasoned. I would put their chicken sandwich up against the rest of the fast food chain ,chicken sandwiches.

There cheese burger game is definitely on point, they have the whole grilled flamed broiled taste to them.on a soft bun ,they are definitely tops in the fast food burger business. There French fries are good also, I have to give it them on the fries tip.

Because a lot of restaurant are falling of in that department. Don't forget about there crispy fried chicken,from the breast to the wings,legs,thighs are really good, that's what really makes a top fast food joint,t Really tasty chicken.
