My skepticism in ever coloring my hair turned into a blessing when I came across Zelda on Groupon not too long ago. Zelda seriously loves what she does. This is the 4th time I’ve done Balayage and cut and I must say, she never ceases to amaze me with the beautiful outcome I see when I look in the mirror when she’s all finished. Zelda’s personality gives her salon such a great vibe and atmosphere to just be in, which makes it all the better too honestly. I don’t ever feel rushed when I tell her my thoughts and how she gives me that time to tell me her input too. At the time of booking, I asked the cost of a blow dry for hair length below the shoulder. I was advised it would be $35. Given that they are charging $45 for cut, condition, and blow dry packages, I still thought that was a somewhat reasonable and I booked. I walked in, was not greeted with any welcome outside of 'sit there'. No introductions, no smiles. The stylist was unfriendly and the blow dry unfortunately involved a lot of uncomfortable pulling. When all was done she charged me $48 for the wash and blow dry instead of the $35 she advised it would cost? Why - because my hair was longer than she thought? The wash and blow dry literally took her no more than 32 minutes to manage. Not a happy experience to end the 2021 year, but thrilled that I will never go...

To say that Zelda is incredible is an understatement. She is a miracle worker! Her skills with hair are nothing short of witch craft. I stumbled upon her salon by accident in an attempt to fix an incredibly bad hair cut. Not only did she give me an amazing new do, it actually looks longer and more lush! She also fixed my 2inch roots with full high lights that look amazzzing and make me feel like a princess. Now everyone is asking me for Zelda the Hair witch’s number. She is also very fun and takes great pride in her work. The whole appointment felt like an evening with a friend. And her prices are very reasonable. Honestly, Zelda is a hidden diamond.
