PaTea East is hands-down the best bubble tea spot in the East Village. It's all my friends' go-to place for speedy service from super kind & friendly people and a ton of different bubble teas from an extensive menu!

Pa is known for their stubby cup, short & wide & bigger than their large size - and currently the same price as the large thanks to a promo discount. I personally recommend the grapefruit yakult for a refreshing, hydrating tea or the black & yellow milk with mini bubbles if you're looking for more of a dessert in a cup. They have a lot of good slush and ice cream drinks too; the mango slush is especially good.

Seating is pretty limited but they have a cute little window seat with a pillow which is great for a yakking sesh. And be sure to bring your doodling A-game so you can add to the fun wall of post-it messages left by other PaTea patrons!

Overall, PaTea's big menu, great tea, cozy atmosphere and super kind staff make it an easy place to come back to over...

Super cute boba place! Cash only though so make sure you bring cash. Super conveniently located by the Union Square Park subway stations, this is a great place to grab a quick drink. I got the fresh grapefruit tea, which is used with real grapefruit and was delicious. I ordered it at first without sugar, to which the cashier said it's going to be sour. So I decided on 30% sugar, no ice, less bubbles. My drink did not have no ice (in fact it had full ice) and had full bubbles - I knocked off one star for this; please follow what I ordered! The tea was very grapefruit-y, as there were actual fruit pieces in it. But, I wish there was stronger tea flavor! It mostly tasted like grapefruit juice and I had to try pretty hard to . For ambiance, there's not much seating here, just four stools with counter-type seating, and a seat next to the window. Pretty fair...

Cute place, great bubble tea, vegan options available (see below)! Recommended!

It's a cute little place, with very attentive employees and reaaaally good bubble tea! You can choose the amount of sugar and ice (see pictures) 🎉 Prices are reasonable.

Some people have suggested to share the large (26 oz) option between 2 people.... if you like Bubble Tea, just get 2×24oz instead. The 26oz option is large for one person, but not really enough for 2 people in my opinion ;)

Note: They have plant-based milk options for the Tea Lattes, but NOT for the Milk Teas. After asking, one employee told me the milk teas are non-dairy, but afterwards specified that he called it non-dairy because they use milk powder instead of liquid milk (so these...

MooMooChaa is charming. A small space with limited seating, but filled with decorations and calm music. There is a board filled with post-it notes filled with art. It is a nice, relaxing place to enjoy some tea. I got the brown sugar oolong milk tea. Beautiful presentation for a plastic container. They were out of large bubbles so I got small bubbles. The taste of the milk tea was fine, what one expects from a milk tea. However, it seemed a bit lacking - perhaps for its price which is a bit higher than other places for I have been for the same size.

Tiny spot, but stellar bubble milk tea! I got the taro milk medium w 30% sugar and it was delicious. Perfect boba-- chewy but not "hard". Tea was sweet but not cloying. With boba the medium (16oz) was 7.02% including. Tax I've been here before but this time that drink was even better and the front cashier was very sweet. Again, very small space, maybe 3 stools, and there are 2 steps to go in. Not Accessible, but the sign outside says they are happy to assist all. Cheerful interior.
