I would call this a scalp wash rather than a scalp massage because the lady doing my hair literally only washed my hair with shampoo, there was little to no massaging involved in the scalp. It felt more like a regular wash at any hair salon, and she did not seem trained in doing a massage at all. In the end, she asked if I wanted oil which I agreed to, but instead of my hair ends she put all the oil directly on my scalp and brushed it in, leaving me with an oily scalp.
