Carl Schurz Park is a delightful urban oasis located in the heart of New York City. The park offers a range of amenities, including well-maintained facilities for visitors of all ages.

Firstly, the park's bathroom facilities are clean and conveniently located throughout the area. Whether you're enjoying a leisurely stroll or engaging in various activities, you can rest assured that the bathrooms are well-maintained and easily accessible.

For families with children, Carl Schurz Park features a fantastic kids' playground. The playground is equipped with a variety of play structures, including swings, slides, and climbing frames, providing endless fun and entertainment for little ones. Safety is also a priority, with soft surfaces and well-maintained equipment ensuring a secure environment for children to play and explore.

Additionally, the park offers dedicated spaces for our furry friends. Dog owners will appreciate the designated dog parks within Carl Schurz Park. These areas provide ample room for dogs to run and socialize, making it an ideal spot for pet owners to spend quality time with their four-legged companions.

Overall, Carl Schurz Park provides a well-rounded experience for park-goers. With clean bathroom facilities, a delightful kids' playground, and dedicated dog parks, it's a fantastic destination for families and pet...

One of the best places in New York, whenever I go there, I feel like being in my own heaven garden. I have taken so many photos there, especially of flowers (over 100 different types), already fit for an entire book. The planned renovation of the park would be great. However, there is a serious problem in the park with pigeons, nothing against them, they are also God's creatures...nice to see them if in quantities corresponding to their natural scavenging but currently their long term massive human feeding (mainly same person coming each morning with a huge carriage loaded by pounds of bird feed) resulted in an alarming overpopulation. Try to pass the prime walking park area approx. 7 am and you will see real scary Hitchcock scenes. Each pigeon releases from the air or on the ground two pounds of droppings per year full of deadly bacterias that can cause serious lung problems in adults, children and pets (dogs). NYC should clearly define what the public space is and how people should behave in it, accompanied with severe fines and/or evictions from the park for those who recklessly endanger the lives of thousands of other...

Charles Schultz Park is one of those places that just makes you fall in love with the city all over again. It’s like a little pocket of Central Park tucked right along the river — peaceful, beautifully kept, and with the most gorgeous views. The mix of greenery, water, and skyline feels like something out of a movie. You can sit on a bench and watch the boats go by, or walk the winding paths that always feel a little quieter than the rest of the city.

But the best part? It’s incredibly dog-friendly. Chanel and Ella live for this park. The dog run is full of energy and friendly dogs, and the vibe is always so welcoming. There’s plenty of space for zoomies, shade when it’s hot, and fresh water bowls always filled. Chanel turns into a little socialite, and Ella’s out there making best friends left and right.

It’s become our go-to spot — whether we’re just taking in the view or letting the girls burn off some energy. If you’ve got dogs and you’re looking for somewhere beautiful, calm, and community-driven, Charles Schultz...

Dog Park Feature: Carl Schurz Park Dog Run! This is a great two section dog run with a large section inside the park and the small section on the river side. The large section has a gravel/dirt surface, plenty of space to run around and rocks to jump on, and a water station. The small section has a pavement surface, can get a pretty crowded, and has a very small fence around the outside so be careful if your dog is closer to medium or can jump. Overall they are both gorgeous parks and definitely worth checking out! @carlschurzparkconservancy . (Note: These were shot before we knew about the dog respiratory illness. Use caution when bringing your dog to crowded spaces and bring your own water bowl when you can to avoid sharing any illnesses.) . . . #dogparkfeature #dogrun #dogpark #benjisguidetonyc #benjisguidetomanhattan #benjisguide #terrier #schnorkie #schnauzer #yorkie #dogsoftiktok #uppereastside #ues #puppereastside #uesdogs #dogsofues #nyc #dogsofnyc #nycdogs #dogoftheday #dogreels #dogtok #dogsoftiktokviral #carlschurzpark #carlschurzparknyc
