Took my son (12 yrs) for a haircut, and the barber literally sliced off a piece of his ear with the scissors. He didn't even tell me it happened and was just trying to cover it up while I was sitting on the bench waiting. After I realized something was wrong, he blamed my son for "moving suddenly". And didn't apologize to me about what happened. I only realized the extent of the damage when we got home, took off the bandage and cleaned him up. I can't even figure out how it could happen, because the slice is not near where the hair needed to be cut. And the scissors shouldn't be at this angle either. Strongly suggest no one go to this barber shop. I'm very upset and my son's ear might now permanently have a notch in it from this incompetent barber.

George cut my hair all 7 years I lived in NYC, and he always left me looking my absolute best...I tell him, my wife fell in love with me because of his haircuts! In all seriousness, if you're in the area, don't go anywhere else. Become a regular here, George will memorize exactly how you love your hair and deliver every single time. I wouldn't have let anyone touch my hair except George, probably even if I had moved downtown or something, I would've taken the train just to make sure George could hook it up. Anyway, def come here! 5 stars all the way.

I've been going to Eugene for my haircuts for several years now, and he consistently exceeds my expectations. His attention to detail and precision are unparalleled. Whether it's a simple trim or a more complex style, he always delivers fantastic results. When he moved to manhattan from queens,it was bit harder to me,but trust me,if you want a really nice haircut you gonna go wherever he goes.

Long overdue, but just wanted to share my love for Manhattan Barber Shop, which was my go-to spot for haircuts during the two years I lived nearby. The standout reason? George – he's not just a fantastic barber but also a genuinely great guy.

George has a real knack for understanding exactly what you want and delivering on it every time. His attention to detail and skills are top-notch. Every visit left me walking out feeling fresh and confident.

I should also mention the other barbers at Manhattan Barber Shop. They're all talented and provide great service, making sure every visit is a positive experience. It’s a team effort there, and it really shows in the quality of work.

Beyond his professional skills, it's George's character that really makes a difference. He’s the kind of person who goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and valued. It’s rare to find someone who not only excels in their craft but also brings such a positive vibe to their work.

In short, if you're looking for a quality haircut and a barber who truly cares, Manhattan Barber Shop is the place to go. Couldn't...

It is shocking and deeply disturbing to see that someone like Eugene, who is openly misogynistic and bullies women online, is employed at this barbershop. His behavior is vile, hateful, and completely unacceptable in any professional environment. No respectable business should tolerate or associate with someone who spreads such misogyny and harassment. Eugene’s actions do not only reflect his own lack of decency—they also damage the reputation of this establishment. In a country like the United States, where respect and equality are core values, there is no place for this kind of behavior. I strongly urge the management to take immediate action and reconsider employing someone who embodies the exact opposite of professionalism...
