Kohl's — Local services in Newington

What the heck?? I have never seen more disorganized merchandise in any other store chain and it is not just this one at Fox Run Mall. The mens clothing department is often a disaster. And not everything you find for sale here is of good quality. You really have to shop carefully. And finding my sizes is difficult mostly because nobody is keeping the store organized. A decade ago I shopped at Kohls regularly. Now it's just for special occasions where I need something for dress. The underwear is the same stuff you can get at the discount stores for less money. Shopping here is like going to a rummage sale where some times you can find a gem but mostly when I shop here I leave the store empty handed. But that is because I mostly use their store for the Amazon return center. If it were not for the return center I would shop here far less. I would highly recommend you keep the Amazon return centers in your stores because it is one of the few things driving traffic. You could also consider keeping your stores...

I usually enjoy shopping at this Kohl’s location and have had positive experiences in the past. Last week, I came in to make an Amazon return, and the lady who helped me was super friendly and professional. However, today’s experience was quite the opposite.

When I approached the counter for an Amazon return, the employee seemed bothered, as if I had interrupted her Netflix show on a tablet. She questioned me repeatedly about the items in my return, even after I assured her everything was in the package. I took out the two items to show her, but she continued to imply that I might not have all the items and warned me that if I didn’t, I’d be charged again. Her tone and attitude made me feel uncomfortable, almost as if she thought I was trying to steal.

This was the first time anyone at Kohl’s has questioned me like this during an Amazon return. I left feeling uneasy and unwelcome. I hope this was just an off day, but it certainly affected my view of the store’s usually excellent...

I will never shop here again. Employees are very rude and they don’t help at all and they never know where things are. I walked around for about 15 minutes trying to find an employee and I didn’t find one so I went to the register and they ignored me. Finally I got a cashiers attention and I showed her on my phone the item I was looking for she said if it’s not on the shelf then we don’t have it. So she was asking someone through her wakie really loud “Making fun of me”. So I asked if I picked up in store within 2 hours like it says on the website and she said no I would have to pick up in 5 to 7 business days because they take a long time to get the online orders together.
