I was humiliated, laughed at for stating I can't wear a mask due to health issues. I was forced to leave in front of other customers. I was humiliated by Sees staff. My daughter had a face shield on to be refused service. She had to have a mask just like the employees. Now Sees Candy Corporate or stores have no legal right telling me how to handle my health. I am not to blame for any rules on masks. Masks don't work, proven by science. I was treated as if these employees are in control of my shopping life, time, enjoyment. I was treated as if I don't do what they say I don't belong, am carrying something in a health manner to them which where would there be any evidence of such? I didn't ask Sees employees to watch my health. I didn't ask to be examined by Sees employees. Sees employees are not my doctor. Sees employees don't own my body, mind, decision process. Then told have a nice day which was a dig into my mental state of freedom to think, choose. They had customers laughing at me. I mentioned human right's attorneys to staff basically to be laughed at by staff. By law there are exceptions for health regarding any example of health related issues mandatory or not. I will never shop at a Sees store again. How about Sees tell their employees of the depopulation agenda regarding vaccines or better yet the deaths from the vaccines. How about Sees corporate follow the law not...
Read moreI was at this Sees in CDM this morning. The current CA mandate is to wear a mask indoors. Now I’m not a proponent of the mandate but honor whatever a private establishment requests. Many of their patrons are elderly and very concerned about the virus. I witnessed a women come in the store and when asked politely refuse to wear a mask. They told her they would accommodate her outside. She continued to shop inside the store without respect to the simple request. The employee behind the counter asked her again politely to wear a mask. She then went into a diatribe of why she didn’t have to. She finally left without making a purchase. She in my opinion was looking for an argument. I want to give credit to your employees as to how they handled the situation. Nobody is paid enough to have to put up with this form of abuse. I don’t support the mask mandate but I do honor a business that right now is just trying to survive and protect their elderly patrons. More importantly I respect these...
Read moreI’m writing this review on behalf of my mom, who has loved See’s Candies her entire life. Katie manages a beautiful shop off PCH in Corona Del Mar, and we had the pleasure of being helped by Bonnie L. and she was so friendly and made our whole candy shopping experience fun and memorable! She was so patient with my mom and very helpful during our visit. This store, which has been open since 1958, truly represents everything wonderful about See’s Candies and brings back so many special memories from my mom’s childhood. Thank you for keeping the...
