I am sad to write this as I know this does not represent everyone at this location. I’m not going to get into the story, but I do warn everyone making a change at this location to make sure account(s) are not opened up without your knowledge. Management at this store is appalling as well as upper (Regional) management. They were NO help to me and actually held back info that I should have gotten. Police and the AT&T fraud department were involved. Speaking of which, the AT&T fraud department is a joke!!! There is so much more I want to say, but I’m going to hold back and just tell you if you can avoid this location I would! Go to the store in Fall River. It seems to be filled with much more competent people.
I have been begging AT&T to put me in touch with someone I can speak to at corporate, but that has never happened and I suppose never will. If management happens to read this post, I would love to be contacted as to talk about the entire situation. So very disappointed and will most definitely cancel my account, have my son cancel his as well as my wife. This WILL happen once phones are paid off. It brings me some joy to know that after one month of when we all cancel, they start losing money on us. I know we are a drop in the bucket, but it will definitely bring me satisfaction.
UPDATE - The form response from the owner did NOTHING. I sent a detailed, well explained and calm email to the email given and received NO response. Shocking. If live an explanation, but I think that might be asking a lot. Very...
Read moreNo this is not Tony Soprano but i just might turn into him. This store established a new low for corporate behavior. The owner, Starr something or other, legitimately lied to me saying that I would save money by moving to a new plan. I am a professional technical consultant and network manager so you can imagine there is not much that flies above my radar in terms of the tech jargon. There were details of the agreement she intentionally left out just to get a signature.
After calling and complaining I was then locked out of my account so as to prevent me from utilizing the buyer's remorse time period for returns. After the time period had passed, the account was reopened at which time they told me in order to return the phone and cancel the plan, I would have to return the phone AND pay $750 for the remaining balance of the cost of phone...explain that one! - In order to return it you have to buy it and then give it back to them for free...
Not to mention she was stuffing her face with an egg salad sandwich the whole time she was talking to me. And she didn't even offer me one. Not that i would have taken it because thats just indicative of the inner grossness emanating from your person.

Read moreHighly Unprofessional!! My son’s iPhone finally quit today, and since he is traveling out-of-state tomorrow, getting the phone replaced today was a top priority. While the Fall River store had no phones in-stock, the staff was gracious enough to start calling area AT&T’s to find any in stock. I also started calling stores between here and Boston. Every store we called took the moment to check, except the Newport location. When called, the staff member said she was with a client, and would be with me in a moment. No problem, take your time. When she returned, she stated she was not able to disclose if they had any in stock. When asked if she wanted to talk to the Fall River staff directly, she stated yes. She asked the staff member (who was taking payment from another client) a question, which the staff member was answering, when the Newport staff member hung up on her. We tried calling back but the phone went unanswered. Highly unprofessional, especially from the staff and a 23 year client. Thankfully the Seekonk staff also went above and beyond along with the Fall River staff. Do not recommend...
