Stop & Shop — Local services in Newport

Great setup, easy movement and flow thru the aisles, had plenty of open self cash outs, but the wait lines were down the aisles for cashier lines. The self cash out computer kept telling me to place the item back in the bagging area, when i placed it there and never moved it. It did it 4 or 5 times throughout my checkout and had to have an employee come over and fix it. When she came over for the last time, with a smirk on her face, I voiced my frustration and said if it does it again I'm leaving everything here and walking out. With today's technological brilliance, this process should not have this many hiccups. As i was waiting for her to fix it, I looked around and 6 or the 7 spots being used had their lights on to be fixed...

I become more and more disgusted everytime i go to this store! I can not understand why your prices are so high. Frankly, id prefer to shop at Aldi. The prices are much better; especially for anyone on a set budget! As well; the store isnt cluttered with the hysteria of advertising on every aisle. Not to mention ; what is with the stupid robot?? Its another annoyance! I only shop at your store because youre on the bus line! Going to another store is more hassle with the buses; which are unreliable. Yes!! Im very annoyed!! Maybe you might not be sooo...

I come to this store a few times a wk. This woman. Dorothy, her attitude is horrible. I have never seen her smile. I had a pack of burger that was supposed to have a digital coupon. I showed her my phone that it would let me clip it. She looked, and walked away.. And proceeded to help everyone else (I'm in self ck out) I politely called out asking her to get a manager. Wouldn't even look 8n my direction customers are now paying attention. I finally left the machine and grabbed the manager myself.. Very nice person he was. That woman is...
