Rational for a 5 star rating.
This is a brand new place and the second day open. Most restaurants are still figuring everything at this point. With that said they are doing awesome for the high demand they are experiencing.
Quality of foods is on point. I've eaten Indian food all over the US and Europe and have to say they hit the mark. I ordered the chicken saag, goat korma, and the tandoori garlic naan. I ordered it normal heat to see what the default levels were. Saag was mild and builds slightly over time. Chicken was cooked well and not dry as some places struggle with. The Korma was also very mild but also its a yogurt base so it makes sense. The goat meat is on the bone so you will have to work for it! If you're unfamiliar you will be handling the meat like hot wings. The curries are served with nicely seasoned basmati rice. The tandoori garlic naan was well flavored, hit the spot! Had a nice char but still little doughy like it's supposed to be.
Location is easy to get to and it was packed right as they opened. The interior is new and setup for sitdown dinning with a takeout stand. I foresee upgrades coming as the business becomes established.
They are open for lunch and its at this time you can partake in their lunch buffet if your looking for an all you can eat or can't decide what you like option.
Staff is nice and all are getting their feet since the place is brand new. So be gentle lol. It will get better over time.
Serving size is on point for the price. They are doing authentic food so that cost money to get the like of proper spices and simi exotic meats like lamb and goat. Price matches quality.
Overall I'm very pleased with what they are dishing out and will be returning to try their other dishes and update you all!
Side note: my photos are the to-go portions. The goat was filled to the top...
Read moreOne word - Islamophobic. They serve Halal food to attract Muslim customers but treat us wrong. I came here with my family at 3 o clock today. We saw several families at the tables eating and we came in to dine in like everyone else. Keep in mind all the woman in my family wear hijabs. The waiter in the front came up to us and said dine in is closed and we can only get take out. He said they’re closed until five and we believed that and assumed those who were dining in probably came earlier and they just closed for lunch or something. We left and waited around the area for three hours before calling to ask if they’re open for dine in again. On the phone they said they have been closed all day, contrary to what they said earlier. We told them when we came earlier we saw people eating and they told us it’s closed until 5 and that we waited all this time for them to reopen; and that’s when they changed the narrative to “we closed our dining later in the day because the AC is broken (makes no sense but okay)” and so we order take out. We get there an hour later to pick up food and when we enter the place is full of people who are dining in and eating. We told the guy you told us it’s closed so why is it full and he nervously said it’s because the manager just changed his mind and opened the restaurant, so how is it full and lively already? I believe they didn’t want us to eat there because we didn’t match their preference of people to serve. Places like this do not deserve...

This is just one of many stories I can share of my experiences with them, but suffice to say I only order take out from them anymore, which is a shame.
Called ahead and asked their hours, asked if they were busy, they said no, to come down. I get there an hour later, there's literally one customer in the entire restaurant, and they tell me I need a reservation. I told them I called and said I'd be coming, that they said that was fine, they say "no, it's a holiday, so you need a reservation." As I'm getting ready to leave, they say they can do me a 'favor' and let me eat.
The guy comes over, we say we need a minute, and he proceeds to stand over us with his pad and pen staring at us. We order, another girl comes over to fill our water cups with headphones in her ear, meaning she didn't hear a thing we said, doesn't make eye contact to see we're trying to get her attention, and walks away.
Our drink order comes out 5 minutes after the food (seriously?), and the bread order is completely wrong. The same guy asks us not once, but twice, "so do you want this instead?", telling us it's a pain to remake it and they don't want to waste it.
Bill comes out with two bread orders on it.
Again, this was all in...
