The Tubby Olive — Local services in Newtown

I ordered 4 infused olive oils from The Tubby Olive. A couple we have tried before and a couple others that we have not. The quality for the dollar amount is spot on. When the oil showed up, I could tell by the FedEx box that one of the bottles must have broken and were leaking. I took pictures since I knew a claim would have to be filed (Have had issues with FedEx in the past). I filed a claim, waited 10-15 days and never heard anything from FedEx. I called and they stated my claim was denied due to lack of pictures. I sent them 6 pictures. 2 of unopened box that was wet due to the contents being broken, and the remainder were the two broken bottles (2/4), and it’s glass contents all in the box. I asked to speak to a manager who in fact said it was not denied due to lack of pictures, but that in this case, the vendor would have to file the claim. I called Michael at The Tubby Olive and he made this stress free for us and sent the two bottles that FedEx damaged, the very next morning. 1 of 2 businesses went above and beyond and made it right, as I would have if it were my business. I visited the Tubby Olive at the Reading Terminal Market recently and was drawn in by my tastebuds. Too bad I was in a hurry, I would have loved to taste more of their products. I did taste the Red Apple balsamic vinegar and just had to have it! Oh my gosh, it is soo good, tastes very much like apple. Since then my new favorite meal is a salad with a chopped apple, lettuce leaves and sliced almonds then I mix the Red Apple balsamic vinegar with a little oil and drizzle it over the salad. I am Thankful to 'Tubby Olive' for introducing me to the wonderful world of Flavoured Olive Oils and Vinegars. At first thought the product looks little expensive, the moment you taste it , you know why it is. If you are food lover, you will enjoy 'Tubby Olive' products and will appreciate that their products are reasonably priced.
