Great food, but not so good service or atmosphere. I met my friend there for lunch. The food was sublime! It was well-cooked and amply portioned. ATMOSPHERE: There are no full booths, which I prefer for personal space and a sense of privacy. There are some half booth/half table seats next to the wall. There also are tables in the middle, but most are connected-so that you'd have to sit right next to strangers. This caused the place to feel more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. SERVICE: I found the server intimidating. When I requested (very nicely) butter for the waffles and ranch dip for the chicken strips, she gave me a hard look, as if I were imposing. I shouldn't have had to ask, actually! Butter should be offered with waffles, just as some kind of dip should be offered for chicken strips. Also, two staff came and stood by our table when they noticed we had finished eating. They lingered as if they wanted us to leave so that they could have our table. We were there for just less than an hour from opening the door to paying. This is a restaurant, not a fast-food drive-thru. I still tipped 20%, but I will not be back. Martinez Russell kitchen offers a great variety in their menu. The food is absolutely delicious and you won't be disappointed if anything you get. It's presented like a five star chef made it out a Michelin restaurant. If you haven't been here yet you have to come. We used to come here when there was a previous restaurant here but I'm not sure why they left because their food was also delicious. So I hope this one never leaves. Come out and give the small people a fighting chance of survival. Come out and see how great their food is you won't be disappointed I promise. I had the garlic shrimp noodles and it was one of the best shrimp dishes I have ever had. My husband had the pan roasted mahi-mahi with mashed potatoes. Both of us were delighted with our choices.

*UPDATE We had lunch this past Sunday after church and again was very happy with her choices. I have updated the photos adding my lunch which was originally fish and chips but instead of the chips I had a side salad and it also served with coleslaw my husband had waffles with I believe topped with an egg and potatoes.
