AT&T Store — Local services in Norco

Unfortunately, their lack of knowledge on their own products put me in a bait and switch situation. 2 different employees from this store told me my phone was worth $1000 for a trade in after physically holding and checking out my phone, then when I brought it in a week later to send off, I was told by Hesham that it was only worth $800 (bait and switch). I told him that 2 of his employees had inspected it and told me it was worth $1000 but he said there was nothing he could do and offered to give me back my old phone, which unfortunately is just a huge waste of my time.... please avoid this store as they do not have the knowledge to give you good info and it will hurt you in the long run. I’m just leaving the store after waiting in the lobby for 15 minutes probably more while the gentlemen who is supposed to be helping me is in the back room. I ask the customer service lady if he is still working on my issue or what’s going on and without looking up from her phone which she was on the entire time says “yeah”. I wait 5 more minutes then tell her I’m not waiting any longer I will go somewhere else. She precedes to tell me “go ahead, he is only helping you to nice, it’s not even in his job description”. She was very condescending and rude. I wasn’t asking for help to work my phone or anything that would not be in his job description. I paid off my ATT phones and they are still locked with ATT and customer service said I needed to go in store to get the issue resolved. That’s apparently not in his job description. This AT&T store is outstanding. I have been to this store on a number of occasions in the last 7 plus years, including today. Each time I have gone there for assistance, the employees are helpful, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and quickly resolve the issue. Today, Malik assisted me with an email account issue on my iPhone and iPad. He greeted me with a smile the moment I entered the store, immediately understood the issue, knew what to do, and walked me through the fix.
