Fantastic Cafe — Restaurant in Norco

One star is based on my drive thru experience even before tasting the good. I only had about four cars ahead of me and have been waiting 25 minutes in the drive thru. I had cars behind before I realized that this was a bad idea and couldn’t leave. There wasn’t an excessive amount of cars creating a long line either. It’s 12:30 on a Tuesday. I realize that is lunch time, but as I’m typing this review, I’m nearing the 30 minute mark. Just unbelievable!!!!!! After paying at the window the cashier explained that they had a large order and asked me to pull around front and wait for my food. I now see the previous two cars that were in front of me waiting for food also 😔

AMMENDMENT: At the 40 minute mark I got out and went into the restaurant. The same cashier admitted that my food was put to the side and they failed to bring it out to me. At that point I asked for a refund which was granted.

Sadly I won’t be returning to this establishment, food was cold and it took 45 minutes to get it. I do appreciate the refund, but it’s not enough to make me...

Fantastic Cafe is an excellent little burger/diner food style restaurant in Norco. I've eaten food from here on many occasions. Whether ordering from them via GrubHub or actually showing up in their drive thru, the food has always been delicious. I usually go for a veggie burger with swiss cheese and avocado, but you really can't go wrong with any of their burgers or sandwiches. Additionally, their Fantastic fries and chili cheese fries both come highly recommended if you want to indulge in something savory and decadent. Their milkshakes and hot dogs are also very good. They do serve Mexican food as well as the burger/diner staples, but I have yet to try anything aside from the quesadilla. With that being said, it was delicious and their inclusion of salsa, guacamole and sour cream was on point to say the least. I'll be trying some more of their Mexican dishes in the future.

Food is always great, can’t say the same for their service. Ordered four meals by way of drive through and politely asked for one of each of the dipping sauce - ranch, and thousand island- for each meal so each person I got food for can have their own dipping sauce. But the person at the window can’t comprehend that part, and was told that she already gave me four and the two were extra 2 of the thousand island and 2 of ranch and that I would have to pay an extra 50 cents for each sauce at that point even tho we ordered 4 meals. she couldn’t get the fact that each person likes to have their own dipping sauce for their food and not dip into another person dipping sauce. Oh and by the way we also ordered a kids meal cheeseburger but some how they forgot the cheese.. smh….I hate the fact that we already bought their food but charge extra for condiments ridiculous. If their food wasn’t good I would rate them a 1 star. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR CONDIMENTS WHEN IVE ALREADY...
