So the hubby and I were in Corona Ca and we decided to have some Ramen and we found Hanami Ramen. We started out with the spicy edamame which was so good! It had great flavor to it! Not too spicy either. My hubby had the spicy pork ramen. He said it was very good. He said that he liked it and that he would order it again or maybe even try another dish from here. I ordered the creamy pork ramen with crispy onions and black garlic oil. It was so yummy! 😋 We both tried their $5 lemon aids too. I had the mango lemonade and the hubby had a strawberry lemonade. Unfortunately the mango lemonade was just ok. It was not sweet enough for me though. My hubby said the strawberry lemonade was good tho. It was a quiet day. Not many other people in the restaurant at that time which made for a nice dining experience . The restaurant was clean and looked nice. The Service was good too. Our waitress was nice and friendly. We will be bringing our daughter back to try it out soon. She likes ramen too, so I know that she will love Hanami Ramen restaurant. So If you haven’t tried ramen, now would be a great time to try it. This restaurant is really good. We will be back soon to try their...

I'm always a little bit reluctant when I see a high star rating but a low number of reviews. Hanami is worth a visit.

Ramen is one of my favorite comfort foods. Maybe it's because I travel so much for work. But let's face it, who doesn't like sitting down to a nice steamy bowl of ramen.

I tried the tonkotsu ramen, which is apparently one of their most popular. Rich broth with a catchy peppery, garlicky flavor. Very nice at first taste. Hanami offers different noodle types along with different protein choices for each broth. I had the curly noodles (thick and chewy and almost perfect) and chashu pork. While the pork wasn't melt in your mouth tender (which I've rarely found), it was tasty and among the most tender I've discovered.

A nice surprise was the whole egg I found buried in the noodles. Perfectly done and with just a hint of sweetness with each bite.

For me, at least, the pepper/garlic got to be too much near the end and I didn't finish the broth. Perhaps just a little overpowering, but that first spoonful...

I don't get to Corona often, but when I do, you know where to find me. I'll definitely be back. No beer or wine on the menu, but maybe...

I cannot express how excited my hubby and I are to FINALLY have an authentic Japanese Ramen restaurant in Corona. Alex (owner) is so sweet and very passionate about his art form. We had the Tonkotsu with Chasu Pork. This bowl of perfection... reminded me of a warm hug given to you by your grandma, who hasn't seen you in years. It was comforting. It was homey. It just made everything right in the world as you consumed this hearty bowl of flavor! The broth was garlicky/creamy and had a lot of depth in flavor. The Chasu Pork was "melt in your mouth" good and "oh-so tender". We also had the Chicken Karagge and Takoyaki. Both delicious as appetizers or a meal on its own. Alex is very knowledgeable, and is able to recommend the perfect bowl for you. Please come support this small business, you will NOT be...

Food/ramen = 3/5 Service = 4/5 Atmosphere= 4/5 We ordered a Tokyo Style Tonkatsu ramen and a Yuzu Shio Ramen, with the Yuzu Lemonade drink. First and foremost, the noodle and broth were most of the score for both ramen, which were quite lacking, mainly the broth if I/we were honest, both we thought the ramen was fair, a 3/5. The egg was cooked well and tasted delicious. They are generous with the meat in their ramen. The chashu for the tonkatsu ramen was tender and melts in your mouth. The chicken for the yuzu shio ramen however was a fair bit plain. The corn was sweet and added to the flavor. It was mostly the broth flavor that was on the lower end of flavors. OVERALL = 3.6/5, but we'll bump that to a solid 4 because that Yuzu Lemonade was delicious.
