I came in on Monday and looked at a bracelet. I have been eyeing this bracelet for months and it has always been the same price. A very sweet older woman helped me with it this particular time and quoted me a price of $1000. I went to the ATM to get the cash to pay for the price she quoted me and came back on Friday to purchase all the way from Atlanta. I arrived cash in hand ready to purchase and another set of women were there. One with a short blonde bob helped me and pulled the bracelet out and told me it was too small for my wrist (even though I’ve tried it on before). We fastened it and she told me it was too small but it was fine and mobile on my wrist. I told her I wanted to get it and she smirked at me and told me it was too small. I told her I wanted to get it, period and the other woman, middle aged with shoulder length brown hair and blonde-ish highlights told her the bracelet was $200 more than I was quoted. I explained to the women there that this was not the price I was told and that I had the cash in hand for the price I was given. She took $50 off of what she told me. I explained to her that what I had was what I had. I was not going back to the ATM for more. She didn’t budge so now I’m leaving, with no bracelet. Everyone there was very rude and accusatory and even smirking at me as I told them that this was not the price I agreed on. I will not be returning to this jewelry store and will just hold onto my $1000. That’s far too much money to spend for such poor...
Read moreHorrible customer service. My husband and I drove down from Chattanooga, TN today to patronize this business. Apparently they only take appointments only and you are not notified until you arrive. A lady opened the door and said that the owner wasn't there so she couldn't let us in. She stated that he had a meeting and would be back in an hour. We called the number to make an appointment for when the manager/owner returns. Apparently they are not allowed to make appointments either in his absence. My husband and I decided to kill time and go to another jeweler in the area. Like I said, we drove 2 hrs from Chattanooga. Nevertheless, after an hour passed I called to see if the owner had returned. He answered and stated that he was now with a customer and for us to come in an hour. I explained that we had already waited for an hour and that we had a long trip home. He didn't care at all. I guess our money or time means nothing to this business. I absolutely hate bringing race into a situation but based on a previous review race must play a part in who or whom they want to patronize their business. Because the treatment my husband and I recently today makes zero sense. There is no way this businesses success can be built on the back of one man. No one can sell anything or take any appointments without...
Read moreMy girlfriend is from laos and everyone in her family has gold including her so after dating for a few years I decided I wanted some myself. So we make the drive down to ATL & look at gold but when going to where she usually goes we ended up being disrespected/treated very poorly. We decided to look for a new place & found Duc hai Jewelry. Once entering we were treated very kindly! We told him what I was looking for and we were showed what they had. After letting me try on everything I was interested in he even gave me a little discount. We will definitely go again once I want another chain or a pendant for my current chain ! All her family & friends also will be coming here...
