This was my kids and I first experience with the garlic press and let me tell you I was very surprised. I honestly thought maybe it was a restaurant by the name but it's actually a shop filled with some of everything. My middle son fell in love with the cooking supplies they offered as they sold a particular brand that he was very familiar with. They had everything from beautiful plates, lovely smelling candles, purses from Baggallini, little knick nacks, knives, pans, cooking aprons, steam pots and more. I'm not sure my pictures did it justice to be honest the amount of things they offer. The store even seemed endless at some point not to mention connected to a candy store which we didn't discover until leaving and wasn't sure how to get into it plus we were hungry so we decided we would visit another time. Some of the things we did see were a little on the pricey side so just a heads up there but the quality did seem to be there. It's def a shop worth checking out for sure if you have...
Read moreI LOVE this place.. I really do. I would have given it 5 stars like I have in the past but I ordered my meal and the guy behind the counter making my food wasn't wearing gloves and also touched his shirt while still working on my plate... That was super gross and bothered me so much... That puts me in a super awkward position.... Do I tell him to make it again??? How weird and rude is that... Just please be sanitary... I don't know how much more I'll come back here if they keep touching the food I'll be putting into my mouth with their bare hands...
On a positive note, the food truly is amazing... It really is the hummus plate, soups, and the Portobello burger is amazing!! Also the other coworker was awesome and did wear gloves... I guess you'll always get those workers who don't follow through completely but seriously, you're working with food. Just please do your job! Please...
Read moreI'm sad to give this place 2 stars. Went in here for the first time and I was really excited to try their food. Unfortunately the woman behind the counter announced that it was 10 minutes til they closed but yet there was 6-7 people in line at it was 3:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday. The ladies in front of us were obviously frustrated because there was plenty of time to get the orders in and atleast take the stuff to go if needed. Being that I work with the public everyday I became kinda frustrated too that I really wanted to try this place and they were turning people away because they wanted to clean and close early. Was not what I was expecting and I am sorta bummed that I didn't get to try what looked like a delicious menu to choose from. May come back soon...
