The Normal Theater — Local services in Normal

I photograph weddings throughout Illinois (Ernst Jacobsen Photography) and recently had the awesome opportunity to photograph a wedding at the Normal Theater. It has been gorgeously restored in a beautiful art deco vibe! The inside restoration includes plus, coral colored seating, blue, maroon and salmon colored walls, high-modern style aisle lights and an elegantly layered ceiling of neon lights. The Normal Theater is a great historical venue refurbished to look the way it did in the 1920s and is run by volunteers. We love the the variety of films available. Admission is reasonable, popcorn is only $1 and they even have a drawing or trivia before the show with prizes! Everyone is so friendly. It's like stepping back in time!
