They wrecked my less than 2 year old car and didn’t repair it like they said they would. They promised that after the repairs, the car would be at the same condition as it did before the wreck or better, and that they take pride in what they do and will not cut corners to fix their mistakes. They repeated that statement to me three times or more, I figured since they promised, I can take that as a verbal contract if they cannot deliver their promise. After the repairs, I noticed the paint on driver side quarter panel and the bumper has a mismatch of about 5%, the passenger side has a mismatch of about 15%, and the gaps between the quarter panel and bumper were also different on both sides. I pointed this out to them. They were able to see the imperfections. They said there is nothing more they can do fix this and that they have done their best. I think they were trying to cut corners and save a little money. They were trying to show me new cars on the lot that all cars will have a slight mismatch between plastic parts and metal parts. That is fact that I understand and I fully support it, but that wasn’t my point. My point was, if you can make one side have a mismatch of 5%, I’m sure you can make the other side have a mismatch close to 5% as well. They didn’t even want to tell me much about what they did to repair the damages. They just told me that they replaced the bumper and painted the bumper. They didn’t say anything about repainting the quarter panel. I know they did because the scratch on the quarter panel caused by the wreck was gone, and there were paint dust all along the edge of the panel they painted. There isn’t any paint dust on the other side’s panel. This tells me that they only repainted the quarter panel on the driver side only. Hence, the mismatch on both sides are so different. I even noticed tape marks on the bumper and the diffuser. Which tells me that they didn’t take out the diffuser before painting the bumper. After an hour of back and forth debating about the issue, they only offer me $200 for all this. I was thinking to myself, $200???? Are you serious? I have waited to buy a car of such characteristics for more than 10 years. I tried my best to take care of it. Not putting loads of miles on it, not driving it hard, regular maintenance, and regular washes. Then they wreck my car? And not fixing it properly like they should? Then only offering me $200??? Just the diminish value of the car due to the wreck and improper repairs should already be over $2000. They should also have pay me to have my car fixed to my expectation by another shop, and all the inconvenience and distress this has cause me. Being a car enthusiast, having a car that you have been waiting for so long, and taking such care of it, just to have someone else wreck your car and not fixing it correctly is like you married the girl of your dreams then someone violates her. It is a pain that is indescribable and stressful. So, if anyone who loves their car, or is worried that something might happen to their car. I suggest you stay away...
Read more( WORTH THE READ) To begin, I am one of those people who never writes a review but I love to read other people’s reviews and boy do I do my research/ read the reviews on anything I buy. I was buying my first car that needed to be reliable for a 1hrs worth drive to and from work everyday and I thought an Audi would be ideal (I was very wrong) the Audi brand was a dream of mine to be apart of. It’s scary buying your first car and long story short Audi treated me and my family with no respect, and very poorly. So far as to lie about personal financial reports and say we couldn’t buy the car. As a first time buyer I didn’t know what was happening, I felt embarrassed and mistreated and all Audi did was rush us out and say “it’s past our hours, we need to leave too.” They said that the whole time we were there and treated us like we were a waste of their time, literally. After work one day I decided to go test drive a Honda civic hatchback at the Norman Honda dealership and when we got there they said they had sold it an hour before hand (which was the hour I called to make sure they still had it) so defeated we went to the Cavender Subaru dealership to test drive another Honda civic hatchback and we loved it. Not just the car but how we were treated right when we walked in the door. Mind you we walked in the door minutes before they were closing and didn’t leave until almost midnight, and they didn’t mind at all. Mr. Shiffer and Mr. Allred was who helped us throughout the process and they were terrific! Mr. Shiffer went on the test drive with us and didn’t mind how long we took. We did end up getting back quick due to fog, but afterwards they invited us in. They understood I was a first time buyer and weren’t pushy on anything, and walked us through every step Of the process. They were very understanding and down to earth people. They seem to love their jobs and want to help you get the car that makes you happy and the one you deserve! When I decided to buy the car it wasn’t because I just loved it (which also was a factor) but because they treated us like their own family. They even let me know that audi lied to me about my financial reports and we all had a good laugh about that (Audi count your days) If you take anything from this review let it be that when we went to other dealerships compared to Cavender Subaru it was very night and day. Cavender treated us with respect and made sure the car I loved fit our custom financial needs as a first time buyer and that we were comfortable in every step of the process. They were very understanding and chill about the process not rushing us. These people strive to make you happy and I will be recommending/telling/forcing everyone who is looking to buy a car to go here. Ask for Mr. Chad Shiffer and for finances ask for Mr. Jacob Allred! Or ask for anyone because everyone there wants to help you not force you into something you don’t want! I have been loving my car from Cavender Subaru and I think you...
Read moreRecently had a great experience with the sales team. Bought a car and it was best experience like that I’ve ever had at a dealership. Great people and they followed up after, a lot. lol
Edit to update: Since I have bought a vehicle up there last Nov. 2024, I need to change a little of my review. The Sales Team and Service Dept undoubtedly still get my thanks and I am so grateful for how they do business and take care of customers. But the Finance Dept. and the guy that leads it is seriously lacking and caused a great deal of problems with no results. I had to get another vehicle, due to so many issues my current one at the time had, so I popped in that day after work around 5. The first part with the sales team and test driving was a bit of a wait but that's to be expected. It was when I was transferred to the financial dept that the issues started. During the paperwork process, I was told I should get GAP insurance due to the small gap in finance of the newer car and what I had left on the previous one after the trade in. I declined twice. Then he got up and got the head of the financial dept to come try and change my mind. I felt pressured to agree, as it was already 9pm and my youngest (10yr) was with me. The whole interaction made me feel uneasy but I was ready to get out of there and get home. I was told I could cancel the GAP at any time but should wait until I had paid a little bit back to my loan.
Fast forward to April 2025. I went in on the 15th to cancel the GAP. I was hoping I wouldn't get the head of financial because I felt uneasy the first time and didn't want to feel like I had to persuade someone, when it was my decision. Well, I got the same guy. He asked what I needed help with and I told him I was there to have the GAP removed and refunded back to my loan. He attempted to put my in a position to explain myself since I hadn't paid off the loan yet, but I told him it wasn't up for discussion. I was very anxious and ready to get out of that office. He brought the paperwork for me to sign and told me it would be about 4-6 weeks for the paperwork to go through and the refund to be processed. Fast forward to last Friday, June 20th. It had been a little over 8 weeks and still no resolution. I called and left a message for someone in Finance to return my call. It's been 2 business days since and not a peep.
This whole process on the back end has been terrible. It's sad since the rest of the business runs and treats people so well.
I do not recommend working with their finance dept. RUN... and use your own place. Unfortunately, I needed a vehicle quick and had to deal with what I was dealt. I plan to go up there sometime this week and speak to someone in person. This has been such a waste of time and caused quite a bit of anxiety not to mention being...
