Today was a very disappointing day. I have been doing business with EZ pawn years and I been doing business with Ez Norman for maybe a couple of years. I alway my pawns and I always call to get more time because I live out of town. On the 3/13/2025 my pawn was due, but I called and asked to get more time because I would not be in town until Monday the 17th they said ok. I called back Monday and spoke with Alex as I found out and asked for an extension until Wednesday the 19th and he talked with someone higher up I assume. He said I was pushing it but that itâs was granted. Today which is the 19th I go in to pay what I had agreed to on Monday and Gloria and another young lady started to help me and when she looked for my stuff it had been sold two Tissot watches one 500.00 and another 750.00 plus. I asked how did it happen when I called and none believed me that I had called Alex whom I am pretty sure I called on Monday denied even talking to me after asked him and he claimed he couldnât remember two days later. As I was asking him why wasnât he being forthcoming right the manager Rick came over after he said there wasnât anything they could do and basically tried to act as if I was some bum off the street and I was lying. I kept talking with Gloria trying to see if my other stuff was there. Rick got an attitude because I was asking Alex why he wouldnât be straight. Alex know he wasnât telling the truth. So I decided to go to my car to get my phone to prove to them I called and sure enough it was logged with their info and time and duration of how long I talked to someone there and I called Rick back over and said you see I am not lying. He said I didnât think you were lying but thatâs not how he was dealing with me. I sale shoes and pawn great stuff and not trash. I had a 92% rating which was good and havenât had anything drop in about four or five years. Needless to say I was very disappointed that they didnât do their job and they really didnât care to investigate who I talked to! Beware if you need something do business with this EZ pawn. Also this was the second time Rick tried talking down me. I really didnât appreciate none of this! The coolest people their are Chris, Austin, Gloria and another young guy! Somebody didnât do their job and...

Mind you they have a ton of different costume watches and jewelry that obviously isnât real but yet they gave someone money for those items. So she dismissed me why??? I just left peacefully
2nd bad experience -(same older Lady) I just recently went in to buy a firearm, which in Norman Oklahoma is the most regular thing to do, this Same lady see me walk in and instantly ask the other employee am I buying a gun. She says yes, then the lady who donât like me,takes over the transaction. She ask me for my i.d and start asking me the question for the purchase, and claim I said my address wrong (which is clearly on my Drivers license that she has) the other employee clarify that(they has a weird little argument), and she gets a attitude because she made a mistake, and got corrected . Then she say âyou know buying guns these days you have to be cautious,â of course because Iâm black and have dreads she prejudge me, if I was white that wouldnât be said at all.... So I ask herâ are you having a bad day, or did I do something wrong â she says âno, Iâm fine.just have to be safeâ (I havenât showed any signs of danger or trouble) .. And after the forms are filled out she tell me âthereâs a delay, it could be something as small as a wrong number being placed somewhere, but it happens all the timeâ I feel as if she deliberately made a mistake so that I couldnât buy the firearm.
Moral of the story this is the 2nd time this lady has profiled me personally and Iâm only writing a review bc they asked me to. And I donât know if itâs because Iâm black or she just hate my face. But I canât (pawn) or (buy) nothing...
Read moreThese guys are criminals DON'T use them, whatever your situation. I came in a few months back and pawned an item, that I had previously pawned, for $80. I got compliments how nice it was and they said they would be glad to pawn it for me again in the future. So a couple months later I brought it back. Got a much colder reception from a short dude and some new guy I hadn't seen before that had no personality whatsoever. This time shorty said â the same item i did before, just weeks later âwas worth only $25 at most because the previous employees made a mistake. Mr No Personality said it was worth next to nothing to them. Shorty said, out of good faith, he would push it through for $40. Reluctantly, I agreed to it because of the pinch I was in that day. Counting the grace period, you have 60 days to make a payment before they put your item out to sell, and often, it's several days after that. I came in the 60th day (might have been 61st counting 31 days in August) before my item was to be put out for sell and â I was told â it had already been put out and sold the first day they put it out, a couple days ago. I was also told they tried to call me but my phone wasn't receving messages...which is BS too. I had no missed calls from them. I don't believe that story whatever. I knew I should've heeded my gut feeling the day I pawned it, when I observed their reception to me. But...at the very least...if their story is true...it obviously wasn't worth next to nothing to them if they sold my item the same day they put it out, and they did it for half the price they previously gave to me for an item worth 4Ă that much. They will rob you blind. Be very weary if they first say they like your item...then say it's not worth anything the next time. That means they have no intention to give it...
