I frequently go through the drive-through of Chick-fil-A in Norman, Oklahoma on Main Street, at least 2 times a month. My Grandkids love it. And my Daycare kiddos love it. I have literally spent thousands over the years of eating and treating the kids. They boast of their customer service. Commercials on TV talk up how they go above and beyond for their patrons. I go today. Through the drive- through. Order, pay, 51. 00 and change. I wait a good bit for the food. And reminded them at the window to please put in the extra salad dressing I had requested. I had 2 kids meals, a Sandwich meal, and 2 different salads. 4 drinks. They finally hand me a big bag with handles. I look at the receipt to make sure everything was on the receipt correctly before pulling off. It was. I get literally on the other side of Norman where I live. Start taking food out and serving everyone their meal, only to find my food (salad) and the other adult' salad was not in the bag. I call them. And explain what happened. They say they are sorry and will put my name on the list with other folks they have done the same to. Lol I said well, 2 of us don't have any lunch. Can you have a driver deliver it. It's ya'lls mess up. Oh, no we can't do that. She states, you can come back and get it. I said no, I told you I am on the other side of town. Refund my money. I will go get us something close by. She says, Oh, I can't do that over the phone. You'd have to come in for that refund. š¤£š¤£š¤£šššš”š” Are you kidding me! š³ I said, "You mean to tell me, you charged me for food you did not give me and you can't do a quick transaction over the phone for what you owe me for the salads?" NO I can't was her reply. I told her. Ok. I will come in for my refund at my convenience when I am on that side of town again. And I will never be back. Mor order for my Daycare again. Lousy customer service. Your mistake, at my expense. Plus, I was out another 30.00 to replace the lunch I had to go buy somewhere else near my location. In my opinion, you blew it, Chick Fila. Similar situation happened to me about a year ago. From a different restaurant, further from my location than Chick Fila. Soon as I called, they apologized for the inconvenience and said, we're going to have someone bring this to you. I never asked for it. I still frequent their business. And as long as they give that kind of customer service, in this economy. They will get my hard earned dollars. Thanks for all the years, Chick Fila. But I am done. Your not the only good fast food chicken in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a really disappointing experience at Chick-fil-A recently. We were at an event and decided to order food through their app, which uses DoorDash for delivery. We ordered over $100 worth of food, but when the delivery driver arrived, we realized that two sandwiches were missing from our order. We informed the driver, who was apologetic and offered to go back to the store to get the missing items.
However, when the driver returned to the store, he was told that they couldn't give him the sandwiches and that we would have to go through DoorDash to resolve the issue. Frustrated, we called the Chick-fil-A store and spoke to the manager. We explained the situation and suggested that they simply hand the sandwiches to the driver so he could bring them back to us. However, the manager insisted that DoorDash had to place another order.
We called DoorDash and they sent another driver to pick up the two missing sandwiches. We also reached out to the manager again and explained the situation once more, emphasizing that it was their mistake for not including the sandwiches in the first place. However, the manager simply stated that it was their policy and refused to make it right or offer any kind of compensation for the inconvenience.
In the end, we ended up paying for the same two sandwiches twice, and Chick-fil-A refused to take responsibility for their mistake or offer any kind of resolution. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a Chick-fil-A. I was extremely disappointed with their lack of customer service and their unwillingness to make...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place used to be the spot! I have been coming to this location since it opened (around 10 years). I have had subpar experiences here since Covid began as a lot of the more experienced staff left and a bunch of teenagers took ācontrolā. Many stand around waiting for others to do their job and theyāve doubled the amount of staff! What a joke. Tonight was extremely annoying as I asked for a large cup of ice cream and specified I didnāt want the small āsoup cupsā but rather an actual drinking cup full and was assured that was fine. When I pulled up to the window he tried to hand me the small āsoup cupsā and told me they didnāt do the full sized cups (kids cups). I explained very nicely that the lady on the speaker told me the opposite and he scoffed at me and went to tell the manager of my issue. Instead of making it right, he came back and started arguing with me and even took an attitude towards me. Listen young man, I hope you realize that you are working in a service industry and you should not be treating guests that way. Just because someone questions something doesnāt mean you should ever get hostile especially when a customer was using manners and meeting him with kindness. I come to this location multiple times a week but not now. I will be spending my money elsewhere. I may come back once they stop hiring entitled KIDS! Ridiculous especially considering the hundreds of dollars Iāve spent here over...
