I was hopeful for a great experience given the promising reviews. I made reservations for 6:30 pm for a gel manicure and regular pedicure about a week in advance, however when I arrived at my appointment there was no indication that I had an appointment. I ended up having to wait almost 20 minutes before getting seated. I am aware that places get busy so let it go. The pedicure service was good, no problems.
When asked if I could switch to dip instead of gel the nail technician agreed without an issue. This however is where my issues began- I chose a medium pink shade which apparently showed up much lighter in dip powder. The nail technician had applied probably 10 coats per hand and the color was still much lighter than my toes and getting extremely thick. Iâve had dip nails with extensions before and they have never looked this thick. I expressed my concerns and she attempted to fix them but they were still bumpy and thick. I have never asked nails to be removed, but these were so thick and unpleasant looking that I asked if she could just wrap them and I would leave and take them off myself at home (I was leaving for a trip the next morning and had to get going). Instead she insisted on removing them and had me soak my hands in bags full of acetone. My skin was left extremely dry and red, painful. She offered to do gel instead, which I was happy about. However, they came out uneven and to my surprise I was charged to remove the original dip polish and also for gel. (I have no problem with paying for my services, however I donât feel I should have paid a fee to remove dip that I was unsatisfied with during my appointment).
I attempted to reach out to the business owner on instagram but got no response. I feel that paying $110 (including $20 tip) I should have received a service that I was happy with. I wonât...

Just DONâT BOTHER with reservations! I have made two. The first was for two of us, but people were already in the chairs, so we had to wait almost 25 minutes, causing one of us to have to skip a service, so she could get to work. Not cool. They did offer a discount, so I chalked it up to a mistake and moved on. The second one was made on a Wednesday for a Saturday. When I arrived on Saturday (@ 8 minutes late), they did not seem to know I had a reservation. Upon further checking, they found my name & number, but crossed off. They told me I cancelled it - nope. They then said that maybe somebody mixed me up with another person, but that person had a different day & time. What was there was a different name with 2 pedis. So it seemed I was cancelled for the 2, but nobody bothered calling me. I was told it was their mistake, so could I come back later???
Thanks, but no thanks. I will find another salon - there are so many in the area - and hope for...
Read moreI have tried Polished Nail Lounge about a dozen times and unfortunately I wont be back. The last straw was a $50 dip manicure that lasted all of 5 days. I made an appointment to get them fixed fully intending to pay normal full price I wasnât looking for anything free. An hour before my scheduled appointment I get a call telling me that they had other people call for appointments so they couldnât see me and I could Come at 1pm if I wanted. Prior to the most recent disappointment I showed up for my 10am appointment and was told it would be a few minutes. 50 minutes later Snow finally took me. The appointment before that it was a 30 minute wait. If you do chose to come here I would Recommend seeing Kevin as his at least does a really good job. I have Never worked with the female owner but she seems very pleasant. They obviously donât respect their clients time and for that reason I will Never be back. I am A loyal client, every two weeks like clockwork. Going forward I will Be going to Fashion Nails. They are honest about their wait times and if you make an appointment...
