Despite having numerous issues with this Post Office throughout the 20 plus years I have lived in this area I am now posting a review as I want to warn anyone trying to utilize this location for passport services. When applying for a passport you are required to pay a $35 fee to the Post Office for accepting your application. I did this for myself and my child and somehow the agent who accepted my forms failed to notice an error with one form, which has now resulted in a huge delay in obtaining my childs passport card. As with all government agencies in this country, it seems they are unable to properly do their jobs, and now I am 2 weeks away from travel and not sure if my child will be able to go despite applying more than 8 weeks in advance for the card. A form that was notarized from the other parent giving me permission to obtain the passport did not have matching dates. The notary somehow missed this, which is frustrating, but what's even more frustrating is the agent who accepted this form and charged me $35 for that acceptance also missed it. I understand ultimately they're not the ones who made the mistake with the date, but I feel like it is their job to ensure there is no mistakes and they have not done so. I've also had numerous problems with my mail being delivered to the wrong person including my social security card being delivered to a neighbor. Think twice before doing business with this postal office they have been terrible for years and it seems there is no...
Read moreI don't like to leave negative reviews but I'm hoping that the post office will read this and take it into consideration. Once I was out of town and my mailbox was overfilled and so I went to the post office to pick up mail. The post office employee yelled at me saying that I'm part of the reason why they're expenses are so high because I did not check my mail when I was out of town and my mail was returned to the office. Then she proceeded to accuse me of doing it constantly and this was only my first time.
I later watched her yell at another person and this was around the holidays. She blamed the other person for not being able to check her mail also. The other person clearly explained that she could not check her mailbox daily as she is a mother of two small children and the employee at the post office told her that it's not that hard to check her mail daily.
Finally, my neighborhood started a Facebook page so that we can message each other about mail that has been delivered to the wrong door step.
I understand delivering mail can be cumbersome because of the cold weather and everyone that receives mail is very appreciative of all the hard work involved. But please do not yell at us and please deliver our packages on time to our houses as we depend upon you to pay our...
