Visited Sun 9/29 in travels & wanted to support a local, small business vs franchise. First time visitors. It's definitely not a super quick jaunt off e bound i90. We loved the name & were intrigued after looking @ their site & other reviews. Indoor environment was good with a fun classic rock playlist & they have a shelf w/ many games! Outdoor environment was an enclosed, messy patio w/ stacked chairs. Was a beautiful day & would've loved to sit in the sun but this option was clearly unavailable. Service: There were no other customers while we were there. Food ordered to go. Guy that took our order said no, weren't raw onions on the "off leash," sandwich & was only what menu said (I always ask, as well as with chili, due to allergy). Very pleased the cook was thoughtful to come out of back with correction & said yes, usually raw onions on sand & they needed to correct menu. (on Toast app, no description on it), & cooked onions in chili. Service was very slow, unsure why- they didn't say anything. ? Food: Small portions! There were only 2 thin slices of turkey on the ciabatta that was on the dry side (cracking). Flavor was good & again with minimal everything, including toppings, wish I'd have been able to recognize & enjoy the tomato jam more since I was looking forward to it. Husband ordered same sandwich & felt even more disappointed on very small portion size. The 4th place chili - funny cool name, was a solid A!!!! Large meat chunks were tender, flavor was amazing & temperature was perfectly hot. Wish they had filled the cup of chili up as it was only 3/4 full & it was an additional side add on cost not included with the sandwich. Price: Disappointing. Overpriced for really small portions. Overall, the skimpy portions, slow service esp for a small order & out of the way location outweighed the amazing chili. Verdict, don't...
Read moreI had the pleasure of trying Bread and Bone in North Bend with my friend this past weekend, and it’s safe to say I’ve found my new favorite spot in town!
We shared the spinach salad, a fall-inspired flatbread, and their special appetizer of chips and onion dip—all of which were fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The menu is casual bistro fare but with a delicious, elevated twist. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, and I’m already planning what to try next!
The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The ambiance was bright and cozy—perfect for a relaxed meal. I can’t wait for summer when I can enjoy a meal on their patio with a stunning view of Mt. Si.
I really hope Bread and Bone thrives because it’s such a gem. It’s great to finally have a spot in North Bend where I can get a unique and delicious meal without driving out to Bellevue or Seattle. Highly recommend checking them out—you won’t be...
Read moreWhen my friends and I were traveling through North Bend, we decided to stop by your café. We’re so glad you opened this place! The friendly and attentive staff truly make you feel welcome.
It’s the little things like this that bring joy to life, just as the Holy Scriptures say: “I have concluded that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good during their life, also that everyone should eat and drink and find enjoyment for all his hard work. It is the gift of God.” (Ecclesiastes 3:12-13)
We truly appreciate your hard work! You made our rainy morning start on a positive note, and we look forward to visiting again...
