Thanks to Antonia’s incredible work on my dress, I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. I had bought my wedding dress off the rack, and while it fit fairly well, it wasn’t exactly the wedding dress I envisioned. From my very first fitting, Antonia immediately spotted areas that needed adjustment, even details I hadn’t noticed myself. I was especially impressed by how she picked up on my shoulder alignment and explained how it affected the way the dress laid (even my chiropractor was amazed when I shared that with him!). From that moment, I knew she was an expert.

Antonia recommended that I wait until about two months before the wedding to begin fittings for the best results. Although I was a little skeptical at first, I trusted her expertise, and I’m so glad I did. She knew my body would continue changing leading up to the big day and timed everything perfectly to ensure the ideal fit.

Each fitting with Antonia was such a sweet experience. Her passion for her craft really shines through—she would light up as she worked on the dress and saw her work come to life. Sometimes it felt like I was the one doing her the favor instead of vice versa. She was a true artist at work during each fitting. My gown had intricate detail yet she made the adjustments with such precision while still preserving the beauty of its original design. On top of her talent, Antonia offers honest pricing. She knows the value of her work yet she is fair and transparent. Compared to other quotes I received, she did not overcharging or taking advantage and even offered more details. First off, I would like to say: you will NEVER find anyone as talented, creative, driven, sweet, and loving of her craft as Antonia. Antonia is TRULY a master worker, the type who has mastered skills done by hand in a way that people of our time have given up for cheap works done by machine.

When I purchased my very large, poofy, multi-layered dress I was told the dress came with a bustle. Wrong. When I took my dress to Antonia, not only did she have to alter the length completely around the perimeter (which included removing the embroidery by hand, trimming the dress, and then reattaching each piece with painstaking attention to detail), she also created a bustle from scratch, which is very complicated work.

Antonia was also able to create a custom second dress for me, out of my mother's wedding dress. This might sound simple, but it required a lot of work on Antonia's part. She was able to disassemble the dress and created a custom corset using my mother's bodice, and changed the skirt from a floor-length to a high-low style (my mother's dress was from the 1990s, and she has a very petitie frame which made this a challenging task).

I called for Antonia's help last year 2022 for my November wedding. She was phenomenal. I had an issue with my dress being over 8 sizes too big because I bought it from a sample sale. I called around in places like David's Bridal to see if there could be anything done for my dream dress. I didn't know that there was a "general" limit in most alteration stores with how much you can reduce the size in a dress. Basically, Antonia was my last hope before I resorted to buying another dress entirely. She took the task with ease and over the next few months after I handed my dress to her, she was able to take in the dress and reattach the beading. In addition, she added in a bustle (which was amazing with adding in more freedom and movement after the ceremony was over). My wedding dress came out better than imagined and the hemming really suited my small frame being 5ft. It was not the easiest task since she did have to take in the dress quite a bit and reattach the delicate beading and lacework but Antonia had the finesse of someone who clearly had decades worth of experience.
