I started in March. I wasn't sure if this was really for me at first. They give you a quick tutorial on punches and kicks they use and send you off on your way. This is a very intense full body workout and when you are new it is very overwhelming. The gym is not that big and some bags need maintenance. I wanted to try all the trainers classes before i made a decision. Each trainer teaches their class differently. Each trainer changes exercises weekly to mix it up in their class as well. After the 4th class i started to get the hang of it and i was hooked. The trainers are extremely motivating. They expect 100 percent from you every class. The atmosphere is great and the staff treat you like family and not just a customer. They make you feel comfortable and will help you before during or after classes. When the weather is nice the trainer will do some of the class outside to change it up which is awesome. I have never been so motivated to get in shape and stay in shape. I had joined different gyms, tried various workout classes but nothing was really making the cut for me. CKO classes are NO JOKE!!! All the instructors are motivational, friendly, professional and push you beyond what you thought your limits could be. They are very patient and always explain a workout if they see that you are having trouble understanding it. The classes workout every single part of your body and no class is ever the same so trust me you will never get bored of going. CKO has tremendously improved my stamina and it has not only helped me loose weight but it has also helped me keep the weight off. Took my first class - it kicked my behind and I knew it was exactly what was needed to get back in shape. 5-6 classes a week, eating properly 80-90% of the time and after 4 months, lost 25 lbs of fat and I am very close to BEing the athlete that I was 15 years ago. You can do it too! The workouts are tough. You'll progress though and before you know it you're pushing through and surprising yourself. Totally non-judgemental environment. Very welcoming. Everybody's super chill, down-to-earth and encouraging. The music and the vibe is always on point.
