I had a wonderful experience with Jorge Rivera funeral home. I had lost a dear friend whom had not a single family member and I was clueless where to begin as he left me as next of kin. Marco went above and beyond and explained everything in depth. Any and all of my calls were answered if not returned in a timely fashion. The secretary always offered to place me on hold as she explained Marco was with another family. I choose to leave my number and each time Marco called back by day end if the secretary could not answer my needs. He never left me to feel as though I was asking too many questions or left me feeling uncertain. Never left me pressured to make payment and after payment was made service remained as professional as day one.. I would pay no mind to anyone speaking poorly of this business! I run a business and deal with poor reviews such as I read about Rivera funeral home. My entire company has used this funeral home multiple times and no one has ever had a bad experience. Look, to start off.. I’m a person of god and I believe in morals and principles. The father came in and started blabbering about trans people, abortions, politics and how it’s against god. As much as I can agree with that. We are here to mourn the death of an individual who was truly valued and will be missed. We wanted to hear passages from the Bible regarding the passing of others, or how to cherish moments with your family and maybe talk about how it’s important to stick together. We did not need that absolute non sense. Whether anyone agrees with what the pastor said or not. That is not the topic at hand! We are here to mourn the dead not talk about other business! I will never use this funeral home service. Place is super weird. If you ever have to unfortunately arrange a funeral home service. Please talk to the funeral home arrangers and tell them what you want the pastor to talk about.
