Was really excited for this place, but fell short. The mixed seafood cocktail was SUPER salty. I couldnā€™t eat more than two bites. It tasted as if the lid fell off the salt shaker when they were preparing the food, and decided to serve it anyways. The shrimp cocktail, fried flounder and fried yuca was amazing. The dish is sold by the pound and is FRESH. You can pick out your fish to fry or take it to go and cook it at home. Fun and friendly staff with a great atmosphere. This is definitely the place where locals eat. Mixed seafood cocktail 3/10 Shrimp cocktail 7.2/10 Fries flounder 7.8/10 Friend yuca 8/10

Place is as local as you can get. stop by this place for a fish, and definitely a good choice! Choose ~2lb Red Snapper to be to be fried, ready around 10-15min, nice and crispy for 2 of us šŸ‘šŸ¼ will come back and try flounder next time

I love Fancy Fish. There are a couple places named that. The fish is all laid out on ice in the storefront windows. You choose your fish and they deep fry it for you. The fish is fresh, and the appetisers and side dishes (raw clams, oysters, seafood salad) are good. I wish they had pan fried or baked fish though. which is why I couldn't give it more stars. Also they do not speak much english (all South American) so I couldn't ask intelligent questions about other ways they serve food. But: The fish is fresh, delicious, inexpensive and you can take it home to make any...

We were blown away with how perfectly done the fish was done - we ordered flounder and it was so tender. The coating was also light and crispy.

I really enjoyed the rice and salad and everything was seasoned well, not too salty. The portions were extremely generous. I wish we lived close by so I could visit regularly.
