I called about a return due to the laundry detergente I got, (which I got a bad reaction too). I let the person that answer know ( a women ) I didn't have a receipt and if there's any way I could do a return or even exchange for something else; she said yes to just have my bonus card and to bring the two items back unopened or unused. I came in today with my two items and waited 20 mins in which the guy helping had a very big line but didn't want to call anyone for back up, no problem ( we can wait ) 6 people that was behide me. When it was my turn, I explained what happened and who I spoke to but I didn't know her name just what she told me. The guy then said no problem I just need a manger approval. No problem I can wait. Here comes the " Manger " tall white guy with glasses, very rude. First thing he says is what seems to be the problem. I tired explain the same thing I had told the first guy, " Manger " cuts me off and says there's nothing I can do about it. I let him know I called yesterday and the lady said there is and I'm able to get credit or pick something else out for the same value. Instead of hearing what I was trying to explain to him, he cuts me off asking for my name and last name and bonus card, disappeared for 4 mins comes back saying I can't find anything in my system, which I tell him am I able to give him my other #, in which he gets annoyed and shaves the laundry detergente in my face and says there's nothing I can do in a rude voice. At that point I just wanted to leave. I don't know if anyone will read this but this was my experience. First and last time...
Read moreI love this Giant store! Every time I shop here I always go to Tony's line. He is a shy and quiet guy but he gets you out of the store very fast and always goes the extra mile to make sure you got all your savings as he has the coupons memorized. Oh and to management , about the Darryl guy that left Tony that bad review, please ignore him. I actually was in line that night and I can vouch that every time Tony gets a customer he gives them his undivided attention. Darryl failed to mention that he threw a temper because Tony wouldn't accept his double coupons. Tony even went to management to confirm and management told Darryl he couldn't use double coupons. This man threw a tantrum like a child. Tony suggested the man use one coupon and head to another checkout to use it which is what he did. It was dead slow after 8pm, at night. That customer was downright rude! I love that Giant appreciates and supports those that are in school as they were great to all my kids who were in school and trying to get their degrees. Keep up the great work...
Read moreWaited in line for about 20 minutes in a line almost all the way across the store with only 2 registers open (a lady who I didn’t get a good look at and an older man) and was about 2 people away from getting checked out just for them to close BOTH registers and make EVERYONE in both lines move to a completely different register that they were opening which resulted in people who were just getting in line get to the registers first and those of us who have been waiting 20+ minutes move to the back of the long line. I left my cart and left the store. They could have told us that they were planning on closing the registers sooner before we got into the line. They even made the guy infront of us who had unpacked his cart 3-5 minutes prior put his stuff back into his cart and move, they even watched him unpack it without saying a single word until they checked out the person before him! This giant may be 24/7, but I would not recommend...
